I love the dot because it Helps you out with weather, ordering online, playing music & many more possibilities that I haven't even gotten to yet. Also it connects with the HUE lighting system for the house.

I have a full Echo upstairs and my Dot runs all the lower level of my home. After buying one, all I want is another! These are super versatile and convenient. You will love having them throughout your home!

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. He is a huge music fan and nice to speak what he wants played on Spotify. He also joked that, finally he has someone who listens to him. Ha ha

Comparing this to the google home, it's a lot more responsive (possible because of more microphones). However, there's still a lot of room for improvement because it still doesn't "know" a lot of things. You have to ask things a certain way in order for it to understand what you're asking.

It works great and does not need the larger echo unit to function which I did not know. For the price it's a great deal in any room. Just does not have the speaker sound quality of the larger original unit.

Bought this for the voice integration with my existing Sonos system.

This is fun to use. I just didn't know that I had to buy specific plugs in order to control Appliance. There are new things to learn everyday. Sometimes I feel like there's another person in the house.

First I asked Alexa to play This is Christmas by John Lennon. She said "now playing This is Christmas by I Can't Believe It's Not John Lennon". WTF? Next, my 5 year old daughter asked Alexa to play the Star Wars theme song. Alexa said "now playing the theme to Star TREK". Not cool Alexa! Not cool at all!

We bought the Echo Dot for our twin boys who ask us incessant questions. Now they can ask some of them to Alexa. I am very impressed with the speed of the requests and the broad based abilities for tasks.

This is my 2nd time purchasing alexa. I had one for my room and this one is for the kitchen. I mainly use it as timer, shopping list assistant and for music. I am happy with ny purchase.

As the smart home business grows exponentially, the Echo Dot is gaining more and more potential as a vocal interface. Not only is it fun for kids, it offers productivity options, many are yet to be explored.

We have an echo in the living room dining room and we have a dot in the bedroom and in the family room very entertaining and convenient we control the heat and air and also use it for News weather and music

I was given 2 Echo Dot's for my birthday and I absolutely love them! It is so nice having them in multiple rooms for the music and the smart home capabilities. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Love the amazon devices, have 3 dots and one echo now. up to 3 dots due to wanting to have voice coverage through the whole house. 2 was a little hit and miss 3 was perfect for a 2100sqft single story house.

We purchased the device for a family member, where there will be another echo device in the house hold, it works very well paired with the other device. One more notch in the smart home experience.

This is an awesome streaming device. It is very interactive. It can answer anything you can ask, play music, read books out loud and even give you the weather forecast. Definitely would purchase again!

Alexa has truly helped in the house from telling us the temperature so everyone knows to grab a jacket and helping with the timer so nothings getting burnt in the kitchen. Love Alexa!!

This item was brought at the store. The stock was full. The sales person was there to assist. Sale price was perfect. I would tell others to purchase because its great assistants with alot of personal use.

We have a 2nd generation amazing Echo, and decided a dot would go well in our office. We ended up returning the dot due to poor sound quality (I understand it's not supposed to be a premium sound Bose speaker but it was just plain poor sound). Because of that alone, we returned the product.

Wanted to give my wife a fun Christmas present that didn’t cost too much (already spent enough on her other gifts)! She is absolutely delighted and having a great time giving “Alexa” her commands!
