I charged into this full steam, buying lights and speakers and a thermostat. While all are totally fun and usable, I don't use it as often as I did. As more features get added, I'll probably keep using it.

Great product with simple setup. Ran into account registration failure issues when getting configured which required echo tech support to solve. Otherwise simple to use with a plethora of integration with smart home tech. Great for bedroom use to control lighting and get news or weather updates.

Loving Alexa, makes keeping a grocery list easy. I didn't know how much I would use it so I opted for a Dot over the Echo. Alexa has come in very handy. I wish she had more skills. I've run into a few issues where Alexa didn't have the information, but over all I love and am very happy with it.

Works great as a second access point to Echo. I love having Echo in dining room and Dot in the bedroom. As easy to set up as the Echo. Speakers aren't as good, but can Bluetooth to external speakers.

Alexa is good, the speaker is below average and the looks are good

I am very happy with my first Echo Dot. The price was unbelievable and the main reason I chose this one was because of the aux cord attachment and the music streaming choices that I already have.

I currently have 5 dots and a smart home with lights and vivint security system and my only issue is Alexa not understanding me sometimes but when i speak clearer and slower its fine so not my dots fault

Like having a genius in the house! It quickly and accurately answers any question we ask and it keeps us on time! We love it and intend to equip each room with one of these phenomenal "helpers"!

Bought one for every room in my house. It provides lots of convenient features and allows you to eliminate alarm clocks. Remote controls and other items that clutter your night table.

Still buying and learning about Alexa enabled devices and skills. The Dot is a great addition, especially now that Amazon is letting them synch with each other to have whole house audio. I subtracted 1 star because I am confident they could produce the device with a better sounding speaker.

This this is great!! You can teach it to be your personal or household assistant, music player, jester and all around good time maker. Adding the amazon music was a big extra and at a low cost. Love it.

The Alexa line of products is bringing innovation to the masses. Even if you may think Google Home does it better this ushered in a new age. Smart home controlled by voice as no equal.

Alexa is not perfect but am the things you can do for $50 is pretty amazing. If you are wanting to have an smart is an must have. I gave it an 4 cause it's still of an work in process. I got it during black Friday for 40 so makes it even sweeter. Liked it so much bought an second one for the bedroom.

does just as stated. really big help for shopping list we can both add to list and check it when we are out. also we have to fed the dog twice a day and this helps to know if the other has already fed her

I have several of these. One for every room in the house. Not only can you use it as a virtual assistant, but the drop in and announce features make life easier for a big family.

Got the Amazon Echo after visiting a relative who had it. We are enjoying it very much! So handy in the kitchen and great to listen to music, audiobooks, etc. set up was a breeze and it works great!

I enjoy having Echo in my bedrooms and family room. It makes it so easy to contact my family without shouting or running up and down the stairs. The capabilities of Alexa are just unremarkable.

One of a great product by Amazon. Made my life more easier I can make a order through Alexa and also track my orders. I bought it just coz I found it interesting but it comes out to be very help full.

It's like having an assistant with all the answers, can stream millions on songs, set reminders, alarms, shopping lists. Does it all. When paired with a good speaker I listen to music for hours.

I bought myself the echo. at Christmas for president. I like the fact that it has a lot of the features like adding to the shopping list asking what the weather is and it takes up minimal space.
