You can ask lots of questions. Get help with spelling. Listen to music. You can even tell it what time to wake you up.

I broke my back in December and had issues doing normal tasks. With Alexa and Phillips Hue lights, my life was made more interesting and easier. I am able to play games and am able to turn the lights on with a simple command. It gets smarter each and everyday with all the updates. I love it and have added 3 more since this.

Bought several Echo Dots for Christmas gifts. Based on research and reviews, they should work great and be fun to use.

Order theme music by voice without leaving your chair. Use Amazon music or Panadora for free. This is a great way to get some use out of that AVR that sit's by the TV unused most of the time.

Added the dot to the echo plus and now I can perform all the things the echo plus does while I’m on a different floor.

Never thought something this small could be so smart! Echo was at an unbeatable price so I gave it a shot. Glad that I did. Super long range mic. This voice controlled device is amazing. Now even using Echo as my alarm clock. Controls my lights, plays my music, makes phone calls for me. Interesting sense of humor too.

Loved the first one so much I bought more. Now have three dots, an Echo Show and a big Echo. Super easy to set up. No problems so far. Very useful for making lists and turning lights off and on. Can use the big echo and Echo Show as a hub for my security system and to turn lights and plugs off and on. Extremely handy.

We now have four echo dot devices throughout our house. We control lights, music, and our alarm with them. Work great.

This is one of many Echo devices we use to have access to music and the Amazon services in our home. Very easy set up.

I like the dot, I don't have it connected to external speakers. It is great for just listening to music etc by myself.

This is my first echo, and I really like it. The price is great and I am using it to work with my WINK hub to control the lights in my house by voice. I'm also using it to work with my google calendar and weather. It was easy to setup and was up and running quickly!

The best thing of this Echo is that I am able to sync it with my Bose wireless speaker. I wish Alexa spoke spanish n_n

This is my 2nd Amazon Echo. It's currently being used to play radio stations in the kitchen. I attached it to a wall.

If you need basic functionality of a smart device a Dot is cool. If you want to control your house get the Echo plus.
