Wonderful little machine just wish it had a little bit more power as far as base and sound other than that Amazon did a wonderful job with this next time I would upgrade to the bigger one

This is my second Amazon Echo Dot. I really like the features,even just asking what's the weather? Echo Dot can do so much more and I'm looking forward to learning and using it for more things.

This is a second Echo Dot in my house! I have the large Alexa and the Dots I use as an intercom for my upstairs bedrooms. I may just buy one more for our guest bedroom as a conversation piece!

Bought this one as a gift-currently using as alarm clock, cooking timer, weather forecaster, music player, on and on. Very versatile- find a new use all the time, and the imbedded skills are great-

I use the dot to create multi room audio by connecting my home stereos each to a dot and using Alexa to play over all simultaneously. Oh yeah and sometimes I ask about the weather.

Really wish I would have sprung for the echo rather than the dot. It does all I need it too, to work with my echo plus but the speaker is lacking due to its size. If you just want to control stuff and ask questions this is perfect. If you want to listen to music go to the echo.

I’m recovering from surgery & use Alexa for timer several times a day for icing. Reports weather accurately & just fun to ask questions in general. I’ve had to do a reset about 3 times already in about a week. She seems to freeze up. I have the smart plug & Hope to set up soon.

The Dot is very useful, especially those with a Prime membership. The skills are great. I chose Echo Dot over Google Home primarily due to Prime Music integration. For the price it's well worth it.

Interacts with our ECHO. One device from one room in the home can call the other device in the other room. Good volume capability. Husband listens to it for talk radio, music not so good.

My main use is to voice control devices such as Sony TV. Surprisingly, Echo Dot can hear very well across a big room. It is convenient when it works, though it doesn’t always work. Hope its integration with Sony TV, Blu Ray player, Netflix, etc. will improve steadily with time.

Even though it supports a lot of capabilities, Google Home does it through IFTTT. By far google home has the best answering capability when it comes to knowledge, but it ur looking for a cheap device to automate thing in your home as an add-on to google home, this is the best device.

I actually purchased this Echo as a gift. But, I have 2 in my house. Great assistant for the house. I've integrated mine into my home automation system. Cool to be able to perform voice commands.

Perfect for the kids to use and have fun with. Companion pieces to our echo. Syncs nicely in house with amazon account, iCloud for calendar, etc. No complaints. Waiting to add a few more.

They had these on sale during black friday so I picked up a few. Really convenient around the apartment for turning off and on lights, checking the weather, keeping notes, etc.

I purchased this for one purpose, to add voice commands to my home automation system. It does that quite well. But as I have explored the device further. I have added many more skills to it almost daily and the list just keeps on growing. As time goes by it gets more valuable everyday.

I use this everyday. I hooked up a Bluetooth speaker for better audio quality and the music sounds great. I'm still getting familiar with some of the "skills" apps, but there are hundreds of them.

First foray into the Amazon assistant world. Seems decently useful, but you need to use the app to enable more features ("train Alexa" as they refer to it). Speaker can be adjust to decently loud volume, but certainly not audiophile quality. Alexa generally hears you from across the room.

I was super excusing getting an echo but my experience had not been great. Alexa does not understand me more than half the time which makes the thing pretty useless. I sirens more time saying stop than i do anything else.
