If you need basic functionality of a smart device a Dot is cool. If you want to control your house get the Echo plus.

This item has saved me time looking online for things. It’s just the right size for my need. Love it love it love it.

THE DOT is a great addition to the ECHO especially for placement in the bedroom or den, family room etc. Small enough to be unobtrusive and able to be dressed up with a cover. While the speaker is not quite as good as the ECHO it still sounds good enough for general use. Price is very reasonable. I have also given as a gift.

My son asked for it for he can use it while in the shower to request certain music, he fell in love with it from there

The Echo Dot is a useful informative companion. You can just ask for things that you don’t need to pick up your phone.

I wanted to try this so when Best Buy had it on sale for $30, I snatched it up & am so glad I did!! Very easy to use.

Alexa is easy to use and set up. It controls my home lighting, thermostat, av receiver and remembers my grocery list.

Love love this Echo dot. It controls everything in my house and its easy to set reminders as well as get the weather.

Pros • Easy Setup • Smart home connectivity • Easy Bluetooth Setup • Works well with Kindle Fire (Having one helps with shopping & searching.) • Will answer Simple questions about Measurements, Time, News & Weather. Cons • It can only answer maybe 35% of the questions I ask. (Even after downloading 20+ additional apps) • Always reply's to people talking on tv. • Does not work/connect with Fire TV. • No internal Battery Overall we enjoy having it.

I can't say enough great things about this product. It control my lights, my alarms and my kids. My only complaint is that it's not well liked with with Google products but what did I expect.

Great way to get an amazon echo in another room cheaply. connected to a better speaker via bluetooth it sounds great!

Simple to set up, easy to use and fun. It is like sitting behind the nerdy kid at school who has all of the answers.

We have several around the house. It is great to listen to music or control lighting and other household activities.

People don’t realize the abilities of this thing. Can be used in so many ways that can make daily activities easier.

I absolutely love them I own three of them., scattered around the house.. My wife at first was like this is just a little toy but she uses it as much as I do now. It controls our Philips Hue bulbs and a Wemo switch at this time and I will be adding more home automation products. Go online and watch the videos and see what all these devices can do it is amazing. The shopping list feature has saved us enough money to pay for it. No more over spending on groceries or return trips because we forgot something. We listen to music, news, weather, podcast and the local radio on it plus control home automated products. We continue to find more uses for it daily and all I can say is buy one. I also have the Google Home and it is very similar but does not have all the features of the Amazon yet. I did disable the online purchases I am not quite the lazy yet. It is convenient when you have an order coming from Amazon you ask where my stuff and it gives you an update on the delviery. The mailman dropped off a package the other day and I asked where's my stuff and it already new it had been delivered before he got back in his truck, just too cool.
