This product is the only woman I have ever met who, when you ask her to do something, cheerfully answers, "OK!" then goes of and does EXACTLY what I asked her to do. LOVE IT!!

These devices are fun. My family loves ours, so when visiting my 86 yo dad....I bought him one. He was skeptical at first but now loves it. Highly recommended for "kids" of all ages.

I use this device to check whether in the morning, turn on and off lights, ad-hoc unit conversion, music, etc. However, if your home isn't too small, you will need at least two. Also, you will need a real speaker to connect this device to. Echo's speaker is not the best one.

Received this as a gift last year and love it! Decided to buy one for my boyfriend this year. Our favorite skills are playing radio, music, flash briefing, and setting timers.

Great to make your home "smarter" but if you are getting it just to ask it questions it might be a letdown. I use it for smart switches, smart bulbs, and basic things like weather and traffic and it works great. It struggles on most of the questions I ask though.

Bought this on a whim. Already own Google Home. The sound could have been better. Get louder sound from cheaper blue tooth speaker. Comparable to the Home at a fraction of the cost.

It's very quiet. Holds a lot. It doesn't take them long to dry as the spin cycle works great. I would highly recommend it to anyone, but especially a family who does a lot of laundry.

Love it, love it! I've got Alexa (Echo) programmed for quick commands. Speak to her more than my wife in the mornings. No hassle nor nagging responses. If so, I just reboot !!!!

It's a great handy device. Love the fact that it has a built in speaker. So I can use it as a stand alone device. Can even use it outdoors while connected to my anker power bank.

i love my echo dot. I use it for pandora and to talk to it to turn my lights on and off. The light switches was separate but works well with this small echo.

I'm not using this device personally but I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. I asked her if she had hooked it up yet, she said she had and that it works well.

I could not imagine what I would do with out this little thing. I will see what this does until Apple gives an answer. At this price point I say go get it and let the smart home begin.

This item does what it was designed to do. We can control our home automation in our bedroom without yelling across the house. The only gripe with it is the speaker is a little tinny. I didn’t have high expectations for the small speaker, but someone else might.

This is a must have. It is so muchbyou can donwith echo dot. I bought for my 12 yr old for christmas and she loves it. She connected her new speakers to it as well.

This is a nice device to play with. However, you'll need Amazon Prime to really maximize any use out of it. Not a lot of options right now, but it's a start to getting your home to be smarter and automated. Would recommend to wait until the technology is more mature.

We are enjoying the Echo. Works well and is improving in relation to correct responses. Get immediate weather reports, jokes, answers to questions. Fun to have.

great small device for home automation , i can get through a lot of information (news, music, weather, etc,. ) or just control home appliances / lights with a simple voice command.

This was purchased as a gift for a long distance family member. He seems happy with it. I guess it works fine as I've heard no complaints. He has owned it for 8 months.

I have an Amazon Echo and four Echo Dots. I like to be able to ask questions or add to my shopping list in any part of the house. The Dot makes that possible.
