I absolutely love my dot. I can tell it to set my alarm clock and when the alarm goes off I can tell it to stop I can play music and I can order other products I love this device

The whole family is using the echo dot and having fun. I don't think we have even scratched the surface of what it can do. I bought one for my son and daughter-in-law, too.

We bought a Xmas gift Alexa for ourselves and love it so much, we gave one as a birthday gift. The skills (apps) are free and growing all the time, so lots of things to choose from

I got this for my family with some missgivings but they love it. Morning weather reports and news briefs are their favorite. I usually enjoy l hunting for "Easter eggs".

The speaker is really weak, but she's pretty smart.

Alexa is awesome, she sometimes is hard of hearing, especially when I ask her to do something. But I think it is my speach and not her issue.

I really like this product, I am hopeful that it will continue to evolve and there more features will be added. Would love it even more if can also function as a smart home hub as well. Right now I have paired with a Samsung smarthings hub and the integration works well

We have 3 Dots at home and I got a new Dot for my office and love it. I decided to pack it for a trip and it was great. I will take it everywhere I go. It's perfect for travel.

The Echo Dot works very well. As of this writing, the second generation is outdated. The fourth generation is the latest Echo Dot.

I basically use it for my SmartThings to control my lights and switches. It also serves as a quick search from online to music and more depending on what services you have.

Bought the dot to power my harmony hub so we could have alexa turn on the projector, audio system, and other components. It learned quickly and interfaces nicely with the hub just has some false positives, like it answers to Alaska as well. Especially with kids.

Amazon's Alexa is a great addition to the home. I mainly use it for setting alerts and asking it to tell me jokes. It can do a lot more, but these two features are my main uses.

This is my 2nd echo dot. I use it in the garage and as unnecessary as that sounds it was a great sale and I love having 'her" in my garage. While my hands are busy with working on projects I can give voice commands for music, volume and lights to turn on/off.

Don’t know everything yet that Alexa can do but willing to try. Love the updates amazon sends regarding this product so I understand more what I can do . with it. Good item when you’re just trying it out and then you can decide to move up to the next version.

I have an Alexa for the house and love it. Got the Dot for the garage, but to hook it to an older Kenwood received via the 3.5 output and into an RCA input on the receiver. Functionally it is great just like Alexa, but the sound is not as good as I would have hoped.

If you looking for a great personal assistant. Or something to entertain the kids with. Then look no further this is it. Also works great with most home automation systems.

Gave this to my mom for mothers day to start her smart home setup. SHe loves it! She loves that she can leave messages for her grand kids to listen to on our echo at home as well

better than buying the other Alexas would recommend

Amazon Dot is our next addition to our ability to turn the TV on and off, as well as ask questions. Everyone should have one, if they are considering automating their home.

My grandson bought this for me for Christmas. We will wait and see. I am hesitant to have something "listening in". It is interesting. I have not bought anything unwanted as of yet.
