Sure set up may take a few minutes for adding a smart plug/ but after set up is complete, my father-in-law loved it. It works well with Amazon prime music membership.

This is an excellent Appliance if you don't need the speaker capabilities of the echo. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about getting into the verbal assistance range.

These are very neat gifts. They can do numerous tasks to include turning on lights, etc. when paired with WIFI devices. The speaker is not as good sounding as the larger Echo.

This is my 3rd device. I personally like the ability to call from one device to another within the house. Great little feature. We love our Alexa. I'm sure you will too.

This is great and does exactly what i wanted! I link it to my Bluetooth speaker because the speaker on here isn't near the quality of the Echo but still a great item!

for $50, this is a crazy amount of tech in a hockey puck. the AI is on par with anything else and makes plenty of mistakes, but so does Siri. All and all, really impressive.

We have 2 Dots in our house and we bought this one for our 12 year old grand daughter in Texas. She loves it and is trying to figure out how it can help her with school work!

I bought two, one for the master bedroom (which now wakes us), and one for the living room (TV and light control). We have it linked to our Samsung Smartthings ecosystem.

The echo dot 2nd generation is pretty freaking awesome....bottom line. And with the new skills she gets regularly its always exciting to see what else Alexa will do next.

Wonderful home access device at a small price. This little device is great for daily news turn lights on and off local weather and you can even play jeopardy or 21 Questions

I use these in addition to a larger Alexa unit. Decent sound but nothing like the big one. Love that it connects to my stereo for whole home audio. Gave it a 4 because it frequently gets disconnected from the WiFi for no apparent reason.

I enjoy the music the best although when I say "good morning Alexa" she responds with trivia about the date and I always have her tell me a joke. It is usually one you can share with your kids or grandkids. I bought my mother one foe her birthday-loves it.

I recently picked this up to supplement our existing Echo. Since we do not play music through the echo much, the Dot was all we need to add Alexa to another room in our house.
