I was visiting some friends and wanted to bring a nice gift. This fit the bill, they also have grandchildren that visit often, its something the whole family can use.

This is the first Amazon Echo product I have purchased. I gotta to say I am impressed on how is sync’s my Prime membership and notifies me with every update.

I was skeptical initially, but for the money I thought there wouldn't be much to lose. After a few minutes, I was convinced. I use it daily and have no complaints.

We started with the big echo and have expanded several others rooms with dots. Makes using the shopping list a breeze and listening to music has never been easier.

Alexa is a great device to drop in to your teens room to wake them up on a school morning. Reminders are a nice touch as well. Inexpensive but priceless

I brought this for my nephew and it does every like telling him to go to bed and take a shower at a certain time. He loves it so much I had to buy one for myself!

Alexa is the personal assistant that you never knew you needed. In conjunction with a Belkin WEMO outlet, I am able to add a very useful wake up timer to my television set.

I will admit that I have not used this product. I purchased it for a friend for as a Christmas gift. It is unique that you can ask the dot questions and it can give you an answer. I will purchased this product, maybe the Echo and give a more thorough review.

I particularly like the way a personal and upbeat attitude comes across. It is absolutely amazing. As a member of Mensa I feel like I have another Mensan in the house.

I bought it for my son and he enjoys it. Uses it for entertainment. Its helpful to have an Amazon account for it. Only issue is that we have another one in the house and if they are close together they both go off when spoken to. Otherwise it is a good item.

Love my echo dots! We have one in every room. We can ask her to turn on lights and play our music among many other cool things. Best entertainment ever!

This Amazon - Echo Dot (2nd Generation) is simple awesome! Its cutting edge technology is simple to use. Its user interface is a convenience as well as a blast to use!

Very cool product. Can ask a bunch of questions to the dot and she'll get it right 80-90% of the time depending how you phrase it. Very cool for doing the smart home thing.

awesome technology. buy just this and a speaker to jack into. the overpriced one with the incorporated speaker is not worth the Extra $125. I do own both the dot and echo.

The Echo Dot is very useful - it works well with various streaming audio services, as well as controlling various smart home devices like LIFX bulbs and TP-LINK plugs.

Much more responsive than my Google Home device plus it connects with my Amazon account to track my orders. My wife loves it for her alarm clock.

These are great for the $30 price I paid. The Alexa ecosystem is impressive. However, if you are not committed to that, the Google mini is probably a better unit.

You don't need my review to tell you how phenomenal this product is. I'd say the Echo system is the best smart home upgrade you can make. The only flaw I've found is the microphone is not as strong as the traditional echo. Maybe I got a bum unit.
