This is equally as good as the google mini it depends on which platform you use most. Enjoy the Amazon ordering function as seen by all the boxes at our front doorstep daily. Speaker isn’t as good as google but not a deal breaker.

Works better than Siri. I put a couple of them in my house and I don't have to yell across the house to give a command. It works very well with other smart home devices.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for myself since I've been wanting one for a while. It's a neat product. I like it since it's supports Tunein Radio. I also use it as my alarm clock. I just hope Amazon adds a bit more features. However I'm very satisfied.

If you listen to amazon prime music or smart home devices this is the best and easiest way to control them. Bought one and Christmas and a second a week later.

Perfect addition to our Alexa Family. We have an Echo and two Dots so far. In a small house, so can't imagine we will need more than one more device, but we'll see!

Echo Dot is just purely awesome. I have enjoyed buying this device. My only issue is that I have to clearly annonciate my words and I cannot yell from across the room.

I picked up the echo dot for my daughter and she loves it. I knew it played music from prime music but was surprised with the number of songs available. Good value.

We already have a Dot like this. We love these "User Friendly" & Excellent Performance Devices. So we Purchased these for Christmas Gifts, for others, so they to can enjoy. It has many uses other that just musical entertainment.

I love the dot. Easy to use and link with other devices. I can play music in every room of my house without disturbing my neighbors, when going from room to room.

The Amazon echo, unlike the Google Home, cannot answer consecutive questions based on the conversation history, which is a bit disappointing. However, it does the basics well - controlling all my lights, music streaming, and give me quick daily briefing.

Grabbed this during the holidays at $29.99 and was the best money I could spend. Easy setup and entertaining. If you use Amazon's services or just like to use a voice assistant for various tasks, pick one up, try it out and have a little fun!

I bought this specifically to control my smart home. For that it's great. As I dug around to see what else it could do I discovered a lot of other mini apps within echo.i played with a few but found them pretty useless and alot of them quite redundant.

I have friends that have the regular echo, but the echo dot fit my budget better, and works great for up to date weather, alarm clock, music, other questions, jokes, etc. I have told others about it and they either bought some or are going to purchase.

Love my echo dot! Had purchased the original echo for friends last year but not for myself. They reciprocated this year with the dot. Does everything the original does.

I bought this to add to my growing collection of “Alexas”. It has changed my life as my husband can add to the grocery list from whatever room he is in.

This is my second echo dot. It is nice to have 2 so I can use the synced music and "drop in" features. I have one on each floor of the house. I can play the same music simultaneously on both and I can yell for my kids using "drop in" feature.

Perfect gift. Use it in our bedroom mainly for an alarm clock & checking the weather to get ready for our day. Love that she does all the simple tasks for you.
