it took a long time for me to buy the fire stick but when it was offered with the Amazon echo I was more then happy to give them a try. So far I have no complaints, they work great together.

Got this for my mom for Christmas. She has gone from having no idea what to do with it. Now she is constantly asking questions and asking for music.

If you're looking for little Alexas for around the house to turn on lights or change the thermometer, set reminders, etc., this is great! But if you have any aspirations to make this an especially small speaker, even for alarms, you may be disappointed.

bought this over google's home due to the number of 3rd party integrations. I use it with wemo, insteon, IFTTT, Nest. Phrasing makes all the difference, can ask the same thing 2 different ways and one of them Alexa will not understand or simply give up.

We've come a long way and have a long way to go still! I own both a dot and an echo and love having both around to ask questions, anything from the weather to the news.

Good range. keep this in the bedroom for a alarm clock and use for sleep sounds. just the same as the echo, just the speakers are obviously not as loud as the echo.

We got this for my daughter. The sounds is definitely not as good as the bigger Alexa. It’s almost worth it to spend the extra $50 for better sound quality.

Use my Echo Dot every day. Love it!! I have Alexa and two other Echo's in other rooms and the quality of sound is amazing.

Works as it should and you can put it just about anywhere. I have these little things all over the house. Only downfall is the sound isn't very loud as I would like

Was a little leary of the purchase but after I got it home and started using it, it was awesome. If you actually use the apps it makes it well worth the money and more.

use this every day. answers questions. creates reminders/calendar events. use with ecobee thermostat and d-link outlets for on-the-go home automation. kids love it too

Use the echo dot daily, love the freedom I have to use custom development and Amazon web services to perform additional functionality not inherently built in.

Wow! Alexa was so entertaining for our last party. Everyone enjoyed asking Alexia to play their favorite song. If you don't own this go now to Best Buy and purchase!!!

We got ours to to work with our Nest thermostats and Wink lighting so that alone made it worth the money but it's also just fun messing with all the skills it can do.

We have now purchased two of these in the last month and could not be more pleased. As Alexa builds her skills we eagerly anticipate what ideas might be next for her.

We bought this for our boys for Christmas and they both enjoy it! The app gives tips on what to ask so it can be more interactive plus music library is great!

I use this thing like crazy. It integrates well with different home automation tools, such as the Logitech harmony, philips hue, and nest thermostat. I wouldn't mind being able to have a little more control over those things, but it's still pretty good.

I use alexa regularly and it's great to walk in and ask alexa to play my music or ask about the weather. I'm still getting used to it but for now it's A+

Siri is starting to get jealous cause I'm beginning to like Alexa more! This Echo Dot does everything the bigger brother does. The only difference is the speaker size.
