I was sceptical of this product before buying it but now that i have one, i love it. You can ask it almost anything and it answers with in a second or two.

Not only does Alexa not always answer when spoken to, but she doesn't know the answer to most of the questions asked. We then ask Siri and she knows the answers. Kind of a disappointment.

I have the regular alexa and it responds better to voice commands when there's some noise in the room. The dot although working find does not always heard commands. It does work well when all is quite but I'll probably get the remote for it.

Can be use for many many smart home products from entertainment ,Camera , to your kitchen and your garage and lawns pool lighting and ur smart car as well .

I purchased these on sale and happened to use them all around the house. I love the convenience of using these with my hue light bulbs and amazon smart plugs. Only con is that the speaker quality is just not very good.

Picked up on sale for $40 and it works really well. The built in speaker was not bad for playing music at a minimal volume. Bought a Tp-link electric outlet to control a room light and it works well with Alexa. Plays my music from Amazon Prime.

I really enjoy the wireless speaker. However the way you have to sync is annoying going into echo-pa7 just to link your new device for audio is very irritating.

Well that did not work, but at least it heard me. Now remember ANY TIME Alexa thinks you are talking to it, it will record AND save that audio.

I have purchased echoes, for our home my I office and family. Great electronic item and our grandkids love asking Alexa questions. Thanks for a great product.

This was a hot ticket item for the holidays and I can see why. I was able to get the last one in the store and on sale. What a buy = my son absolutely loves it.

I have 3 Echo Dots at hone and they were easy to set up and use. Sound quality gets better with each version. Couldn’t live without Alexa!

Alexa works well through the Echo Dot. I connected it via bluetooth to my stereo receiver, so I get great sounding music at my voice command. Easy set up with the phone app. Personal assistant seems a bit of a stretch, but it's useful and fun.

We loved our Echo Dots so much that we purchased one for everyone on our Christmas list. We were very popular this year : ) Thanks Amazon.

The speech recognition on this product is excellent. It is capable of doing many things, and it seems that its capabilities are added to on a weekly basis.

It's great for voice commands like weather and reminders, etc. But if you want to listen to music, go ahead and get the tower. It does what it's supposed to, we just got a tower at the same time and use it so much more.

Alexa is fun, entertaining and can control a vast amount of smart things but does not seem to know how to handle some simple requests. I'm sure in time she will improve further so its no big deal. I would buy this again and recommend to others.

100 years from now, when someone writes the history of 2017 and 2018, they will write that the Echo was the best invention of this era in civilization.

Love my Amazon Echo Dot. It's fun and easy to setup and use. Does pretty much everything I tell it to do. The price was amazing to got for $29.99 deal.

My family uses this for everything from timers to music. It is awesome, responsive, and has so many uses. Works best if your already a Prime Member.

it is the beginning of future products and capabilities. this was my third echo and I am putting them around two houses and gifting to friends and family.
