I bought this for my wife since she was the only one without an Echo device of some sort. Our whole family now has access to Alexa in just about every room!!

Bought three of these as Christmas gifts, because I though they would be a hit and they were! Everyone loved using them and still do!

Not as Smart as the Google Home. Alexa can play radio and music better. I dont think she can understand my Texas draw when it comes to controlling the lights.

Only draw back is when you are half asleep she cant hear you say snooooozze. Other then that its fun to ask her random stupid questions and see what she says.

I love this device. I love the fact that I can I be in my living room, and speak to her while she is in the bedroom. It's just a great device at a great cost.

It is very nice and convenient to be able to just ask a question or the temperature. It can be a bit frustrating though if you don't have paid subscriptions to play music, etc. I would say that is the biggest downfall.

Every week I have learned a new skill that Alexa can do. I have even talked my parents in to getting their own. Love the list feature & the calendar.

Works great if you use alot of Amazon services and want to be able to check time, weather, and other basic info. Gaining more app control daily, so should only improve. Does have a hard time in loud rooms, as would be expected.

Echo dot with Alexa might just be what home automation was waiting for. Good entry level device is even better when paired with smart plugs and smart lights.

Awesome! I've added this to my truck using my phone as a hot spot. Great way to stream Amazon prime through my car stereo, while have information on hand

It's a great thing to have . Alexa you can ask her about anything and she will do her best to answer . If you don't have one u need to buy one...

Echo dots are a key component of my IOT. Paired with WEMO devices and a smart weather station I can find out what is happening indoors and out.

Have not used a lot as of yet but have enjoyed, I understand the echo will learn more as I use it more, So I am looking forward as I connect more items to the Echo. and I will be giving them as Christmas Gifts to Office Staff and Friends

Amazon echo is so easy to use. You can ask it anything and it will answer or perform any task it was given. I love it so much I got one for my mother in law.

No matter if I'm by myself or have my kids or friends around. She is always entertaining and super helpful making that final decision. Highly recommend her.

The Echo Dot is so much fun. I really and enjoying it. I gave several of them as gifts for Christmas to my grandchildren and they all love them also!

I purchased this as an additional to my smart home. I am using in my daughter's bedroom so she can have easier access to Alexa's functions.

I was torn between the amazon Echo and the Echo Dot. After reading reviews and from collecting information from friends, I decided that I would go ahead and get 2 Echo dots. The sound quality is fine and it connects via Bluetooth with ease.
