Purchased for Christmas Gift. My niece loves it. I have one and use it daily. I got a good deal at Christmas time, which made me a hit with my niece!

the dot is in my bedroom. I have the full size alexa in the living room. She is handy for timers and reading my books and telling thetime. I do wish that i could ask her much more questions as on google voice. She would be perfect then.

It’s a nice personal assistant but the sound quality should be more premium. When compared to google home mini it has a poor sound quality

I think all the extras like weekly emails telling you if new or different functionality makes this an outstanding product - quality and value added features!

if you want the simple input, response and controlof other iot, works great. Not the best speaker if that's what you want, maybe upgrade

The echo is in our bathroom as we like to listen to music while we are showering. Our only problem, which we solved by hooking it to a Bose speaker was that the quality of sound was not great. We use its other features as well like an alarm

This is my 3rd Dot that I have purchased. It works great for turning on lights with the Philips Hue, adjusting Honeywell thermostats, and many other things.

I got this Echo Dot for the garage. We're using it mainly for an intercom system and music. Was easy to add to the other dots in our house.

This is a fun product to use but it is rather limited in what it can do. You have to spend too much time adding skills that you care about and then you have to remember what the commands are to make it do what you would like it to do.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother, so we shall see how it works very soon! I have the larger one and I love it! Get ready for Alexa!

Love my 3 Dots so much that I purchased this one for my Grandson...all three Dots have become a part of my life and I wanted my Grandson to join me.

The echo dot is an amazing product. It doesn't have the sound quality of the bigger Echo. I have mine connected to a stereo so I can stream music from Amazon.

Handy and lots of fun. Easy to use. Sometimes better than my smartphone. Just ask (example "Alexa - Wake me at 5 am"). No need to even touch your smart phone.

Works great, easy to set up, bought on sale at great price. Now if I could just get it to interface with X-10 systems, it would be awsome!

The amazon Echo Dot (2nd generation) was on sale so much less than during the holidays we couldn't pass it up. Great price and great deal!

We love these. We have 3 in the house and will be adding more. I even find my 9 year old asking it questions after I leave the room.
