I have Alexa on the main floor of the house and the Dot in our bedroom. Love being able to use voice command to play music and turn lights off and on.

The Alexa echo dot is great! She can do anything from telling you the weather to playing your favorite station on Pandora. I love it!

We ended up buying 2 of these to go along with our Echo. We use them every day. Hooked up a cheap portable speaker and leave it plugged in all the time.

Have the full-size Alexa so this is a nice addition. Very convenient and out of the way but still there to answer your questions. Would buy again.

I received this, for all intents, free as a part of a bundle with the Bose speaker. The fact that it is there waiting for voice commands is a little scary since it can be hacked and someone can listen to you. Little scary!

Return never used... all of family had to use amazon and we all had Google with our phones so at the time it wouldnt work for us.

This is an item that nobody really NEEDS, but can surely find uses for if you have one. It took a few days to get used to it, but I now use it daily.

The echo is a great companion to your Amazon Prime membership -- you can use it to play music and control other devices (Hue, Fire TV). Excellent for little tasks like setting timers for cooking, alarms, and checking the weather.

I really enjoyed my first Amazon Echo. This purchase is my second Echo Dot. If I could I would have one in every room as they are extremely convenient to use if you have a question or would like to know a fact about anything.

It’s small not very loud and sound quality also not as good compared to the 3rd generation one it sounds like the radio Id recommend just going for the 3rd gen one
