I didn't think I would use this as much as I do. It's only fault is about once every six months it disconnects from the wifi.

What can I say I'm trying to make my home a smart home and this seems like a great starting point with it I can pupils up a voice activated home

Not only can you have fun with this but it can be used in an emergence situation if you should need help you can say call an ambulance.

This thing is a great tool for the whole family. Entertaining interactive games, music, hands free Q&A. Kids and adults both enjoy it.

Given as a Xmas gift. Has been a lot of fun asking all types of questions & receiving quick answers. Has provided lots of laughs & information.

For the most part this works very well. The user has some learning to do and at times, you have to keep up the app. Overall, not a bad device. Certainly fun to use and it does what I want it to do from a music stand point.

Purchased the Echo for a restive who we thought would never use it. Turns out we were wrong and she’s using it more than we could ever expect we recommend this to any age group, even over 80!

We use this extensively daily as a reminder, weather check, daily quotes. Very informative when asked mathematical questions.

This Echo Dot is my 1st Alexa device and really enjoy it. I've used it to listen to music, turn on lights and other tasks.

After reviewing the capabilities of this little thing and seeing it in action. I have to say I am impressed. Life isn't the same without Alexa

I'm having the time of my life learning what Echo can do. I'm adding other devices to it little by little. A excellent gift for any age group.

Alexa knows a lot of information and it is fun to play some of the games and ask any kind of question you can think of!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my mom tried to download the app to her Samsung tab the play store wouldn't allow it so I had to also purchase a prepaid smart phone just so she could use Alexa

This makes a wonderful gift I have 1 of these and i love it I also have a Echo and love it also. Every one should have one so much fun to have.

I have 2 of these and a spot around the house they all work great at controlling our smart things and for random questions.

I received this for a Christmas present and have been giving one to all my family members, young and old. We all are amazed at all it can do.

After using my Echo Dot for about a month regularly, I retired it to semi-regular use. It wasn't too difficult to set up, but it was the fine tuning and constant use if third party integrations like IFTTT, Pushbullet, etc., and it's limitations that made me reduce it to just being a smart speaker for my bedroom (and light controller for my bedroom shower). The more I used it, the more I didn't like it. So I use it sparingly and for a specific purpose now and I can tolerate it. Get the Google Home instead.

get the ecco light switches, nest thermostats, and so much more. you can turn your house into a smart home at a very reasonable price.

Ok for the price, sound quality is average. The tower does sound better. I wish it could be more informative though...
