I placed this echo in my man cave in the basement. It's nice to walk to the door have the lights come on and be greeted by soothing music.

i bought this as a gift. the receiver has a desk top computer and has reported difficulty loading apps onto his system which may be 15 years old. he borrowed his granddaughters tablet and started working things out

My kids rooms are far from the main LR so I can ping them from the main Alexa in the LR without having to holler down the hall. :)

Purchased this for my daughters bedroom. Works great and can check in on them while I’m out and about

Absolutely love the Echo Dot. It does everything. I love calling family on it. It answers so many questions. It’s awesome!

Alexa makes it fun to find music, learn things, find out about weather conditions and more. My son likes to ask her for the joke of the day.

I just started the smart home gadget experience and I’m glad I waited for them to work out the bugs that all of these products

I got this just to see what it’s all about & to use as a alarm clock. Has so many features & at the price I paid was well worth it!

It’s very amusing to use to play games with your family and such but does need improvement towards voice recognition and sound it’s pretty low but luckily you can hook up a speak to it so it all works out .

This is a basic “alexa” will answer questions and tell you the time, can play music but the sound isn’t fantastic.

this worked well but i stopped using it because ... it's just a fad. i now have 3 devices that are unplugged bc i don't want the NSA to listen to me.

This works as well as my full sized Echo, though the sound quality, admittedly, is less than great. It's good for a small space or connected to a speaker, but then you might as well get the Echo.

We love Alexa. After spending a couple of days learning how to best engage with her, she is now able to manage our thermostat, lights, tv.

Wasn't too easy to setup but no too hard either. Still learning all what it can do. I like it. In fact, I've purchase 3 more (2 for myself and 1 for a friend) but the 3rd Generation this time.

I love the Amazon Echo Dot. It is a cool product that has many useful features. Using with Amazon Music is amazing. Alexa is so smart!

Great price. Easy set up. Of course not as good as the Echo due to its size. The speaker quality is less and I've found some distortion at low volume. Other wise great for info, alarm clock etc.

The Echo Dot is a great tool to have around the house. Its listening distance is amazing and has been flawless with our Hue lighting setup.
