I bought this for my Mother in law who thinks Alexa is an operator with an encyclopedia. She is constantly amazed at how Alexa knows the answers so quickly. She certainly under-utilizes it but it keeps her company.

Alexa is what my family uses for daily requests and games, it's so much fun! also when we host events it help us out with music selection

I love my Amazon Echo Dot. Not only is it easy to use, it is a big help in organizing my life.

Christmas purchase and great choice. Very small but very effective. Definitely not going to be blown away by sound but good enough for $40. Only downfall is speaker if using it for music but can’t beat $$.

We still aren't using to its full potential. So far it has mainly been used as a reminder/weather app. Recently linked to TV and then soundbar and that functionality i can see being beneficial.

Purchased the Echo Dot (a second one) to go upstairs in our home theater as a remote music controller for music throughout the house.

The Amazon Echo Dot is very responsive and helpful in many ways from listening to music to searching for information.

This has to be one of the best devices I've received. It makes Siri look like she is in elementary school while Alexa is in Grad school.

Love asking for weather, temperature, news updates and also will use it for sleep music and sounds and set the sleep timer. Love all these useful ways of making use of the product, and the price is good.

Makes simple things even easier! We are finding more ways to use it and I’m sure we will add more devices to activate with this tool! We currently use it to control WIFI lights and of course music choices!

Easy to setup and install. Has minor issues understanding my request and doesn't have the search ability like a Google home, but still a great unit that works for me

Bought this for a family member who didnt care for the bigger echo. They use this thing everyday as do i with my echo. Love these products

We have a series of Echoes throughout the house. Now we need some additional smart home devices. These are very fun!

We recommend you go to a web site with the commands she responds to to get longer answers and more precise ones to your specific geography

One of our other family members received it for Christmas and after playing with it and seeing everything it could do we had to have one.

You can ask Alexa anything and she gives a great answer. Also love to tell her to play music for me ..... ECHO FOT IS GREAT !!!

I use my echo everyday and would recommend it to anyone. It is constantly being updated by Amazon and its capabilities are ever expanding.

Not very user-friendly as far as set up. Also had great difficulty after pairing it with the device at one house and then unable to pair up with a different device even after we deregistered it and removed app.
