Basically same functionality as full Echo. Speaker volume is lower than full echo but can be improved by attaching external one.

If you don't mind the lower speaker quality or have an attachable one. This is well worth the price. Otherwise get the Echo.

I bought a few of these and got this one as a gift. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to make their home a smart home

I am in love with my Amazon Dot. Alexa is the best. I love connecting my cell phone. I just hate the fact that it's not wireless.

So far they said they like it and have no issues. So, there you have it. They have had it long enough to know.

I have both Google Home and Alexa. I find the Google Home more accurate. However, Alexa is great if you are a developer as you can program it to do many things the Google Home can't.

I get so much use out of my Dot, its a crime how cheap it is. My wife was skeptical at first, but now she uses it more than I do.

I've purchased a few dots for my home and I love them. The rooms in my home just don't feel "right" unless I have Alexia with me.

I got this to control our Sonos and it works great. I also have an Echo but it doesn't have an audio out port like the dot does.

Alexa actually has a sense of humor. Ask to tell a joke, ask for Fitbit progress or to alarm security system! She does it all!

This Amazon system is good, but no where close to being as mature as Google's alternative. I'm sure it will improve over time as it continues to be used by hundreds of thousands if not millions of users.
