Gave this echo to a friend and he loves it. He was able to connect it easily and has enjoyed it since.

This is a great product. The only issue is that you need other "Smart Home" items otherwise its basically Google Voice.

Echo Dot is good if you want to try out Amazon alexa voice capabilities. I am developing few apps for Alexa and wanted to test them out on real Echo. For this purpose Echo Dot is perfect.

Easy access to the Internet of things. Use the dot to supplement Alexa in a different part of house to expand coverage.

I don't want to say this is a bad product because to some im sure having this around would be helpful but I feel very limited to what I can do with an echo. She cannot change the color of my phillips hue lights just the brightness and turn them on and off. You have to say very specific commands to get it to even do those two things. A lot of the time my echo dot will drop connection, and I will get the red ring where Alexa says shes not currently available. Maybe I just don't have enough smart objects in my home to find use with this product.

I bought this for a friend for Christmas and she hasn't connected it yet, so I'm not sure how to rate it, but it sounds like a fun and useful product (I really wanted to keep it for myself!).

This echo product is very fun and great to use. I bought this for my 84 year old uncle and he loves it.

We use these all over the house. The only complaint that I would say is that it tends to listen more than I feel like it should. The sound is fine not excellent.

Bought as a gift for my friend and I know he'll love it. He's always looking for an easier way to do things lol
