It was nice addition to the home automation. I was surprised by the nice range that Alexa can hear you from.

We have Alexa and this was given as a gift to father in-law. He is having a great time playing with the many features.

I LOVE MY ECHO DOT! I ENJOY THE FACT THAT IT CAN LOOK UP ALL TYPES OF MUSIC WITHOUT HAVING TO TOUCH MY PHONE!

Good for checking weather forecast or ask questions. Kids love Echo to play when they get bored but may need to keep eye on them when asking maths questions like addition/subtraction etc :-)

Didn’t think I needed this but once you have it an get the plugs for it u can control the lights in the house

We got an Echo Home and the Dot. Love the Home, but did not care for the sound quality of the Echo Dot, so we decided to return it. Looking at the Sonos with Alexa option to purchase.

This works about 90% of the time with my lights and other smart equipment. It works well enough to use most of the time and I hope they continue to improve on the accuracy.

Alexa is so useful. We've connected her to the Wemo Belkin switches and never have to touch a light switch ever again.

I can't tell you how happy I am to have this product at my home. It has been so much fun as we are learning every day.

Well, I expected more but it is a work in progress. There are new apps coming and as is, it does what is advertised.

Loved my recent purchase got it for my sister graduation present. She uses it on a daily basis for music and shopping.

This is my fourth one. I have them in different rooms in the house. Having them around t is so useful!

My family has these in every room and we use them as intercoms to talk between rooms. Very convenient.

This was an awesome addition to our Alexa ecosystem. It allows me to call room to room and is simple to use.

I purchased the Echo Dot and the Google Home at the same time. Not as impressed by the Echo Dot. It is a bit clunky, as in it really needs to hear specific words in your sentence, to change Hue Color Lights, and change the Honeywell thermostat. Google Home is right on the ball, and really listens to what your command is asking, and not listening for a specific word or command. I will keep the Echo Dot, but I have moved it to my bedroom, and I only use to for simple commands, like "raise temperature to 70", and "Turn off the bedroom light".

Bought the dot for my grandson who loves to ask questions. We love it with the music and being able to ask questions.

Was a gift for a friend. Lived up to expectations. Instructions could have been better, but we got through it.

Nice unit, works in rooms removed from where Alexa resides. Should have bought three of these babies.

I haven’t used this yet. I did get it for a Christmas gift exchange. It was a great Black Friday deal.
