The echo dot works great I'm not much of a techie person but the echo dot was very easy to set up

Bought this for my son and he loves it..he likes asking random questions and getting the answers.

I own 3 Echo dots and use them everyday. I've connected them to Boae speakers and have great sound!

Great size, easy to pair with a bluetooth speaker to improve sound quality (it is loud but no bass for music). Seamlessly paired to my Phillips Hue system to allow me to manage lights throughout my house without lifting a finger (great for bedrooms!). Useful skills to get your day started, answer questions, relax, play games, etc. My kids love asking random questions to see what the response will be.

This less expensive option does what the bigger one does, only the speaker isn't as good, but if you have a blue-tooth speaker, anyway, you can pair it for better sound. Answers questions, plays music, tells stories, etc. that you have enabled on your smartphone.

Within a few days of receiving my Echo Dot my living room was converted into a smart room. I can now controll smart power outlets, controll my lights, AC unit, change the light color, oh and it connects flawlessly with my Sony WiFi speaker so it sounds fantastic. How cool is that?

Bought my first echo. Easy to set up and use. Easy to pair with blue tooth speakers. Do not like that the echo speaker does not sound when paired with other speakers.

A simple review. This device is cheap, you don't need a bluetooth speaker the sound coming from the Echo Dot is great for responses from Alexa (Unless you wanna play some serious loud music). Having the Echo Dot controlling all of your smart devices at home is really amazing considering the price.

Price makes it affordable to purchase several throughout home and they all sync. Absolutely love.

The Amazon Echo dot is a great smart home companion as well as multi-function companion. I love the ability to play music by using my voice or turning on my lights, setting a timer, checking the weather and many, many other things. The voice recognition is good, even from a distance and I like being able to have multiple Dots around the house. I even purchased one for my mom for mother's day and she loves it.

This was bought for a gift but I have three of these in my house and got a Show as a Christmas gift. While I wish she was able to answer more random questions, she does a great job with all the basics you want this type of device to do and controls my Vivint smart home pretty well.

I got this on the Black Friday sale so the price was great! Compared to my google home, the echo is slower by a couple of second in response. But overall it’s good.
