Purchased both an echo and a Dot, they work great in our apartment! My fiancé loves them!

We have a full size In the kitchen we bought the dot for the upstairs and love them both.

Connects to smart plugs, Logitech harmony, many other features. For $30 it’s a no-brainer

These are pretty neat and lots of fun. This is my second one and I put it in the bedroom. Linked it with the kitchen one and now play music on both at same time. Linked it with kasa tp link and tell Alexa to turn on the coffee every morning...before I get out of bed. Love it when it works, but frustrating when Alexa tells me " I am having trouble connecting with the internet." I have learned to not get upset, just wait awhile, and the next time I ask her something, she connects just fine without me doing anything. Have no idea what causes that but just roll with the flow.

Wanted a dot to go along with my full size one to accompany it in the bedroom works great

Love this little tech toy. Feels as if someone is always there to listen to me. It helps me with math, meditation, knowledge, anything I may need and it's affordable. The speaker is nice, when I got it I wasn't sure if it had one, you can also connect it to any other speaker.

If you've invested in Amazon's ecosystem, this is totally convenient. If not, Google home is a better pick because the voice recognition is streets ahead!

I bought it for the good price on black friday, its actually fun to use it. Kids love it.

Love the small size. We have a full size Echo which we decided to move to another room. The Dot is the ideal size to sit next to our TV. It takes virtually no space and provides adequate sound on its own. With its Bluetooth connectivity, the sound through our speakers is amazing.

Get a bluetooth speaker to go with this. Any speaker is fine. But, these things are fun to play with even. Ask it to go on a date with you.. if it thinks you're cute.. Or, even talk smack to it.. The dot is fun and offers a lot of extras. Timers, alarms, reminders, and even calling people. Very cool to have In my one bedroom apt I actually have 2 of them. One right next to my bed and one in the living room.

This is a great product and is easy to use right out of the box. Love all of the features.

My nephew absolutely loves the Echo Dot. He's uses it for an alarm clock. He is young so he likes to ask it Dinosaur facts and for Alexa to tell him jokes.

The Dot has basically the same functionality as the Echo minus the fancy speaker. I have paired mine with a Bluetooth speaker and have had great results. The Dot works great with my INSTEON hub and devices. I am looking forward to increasing the functionality with some added skills.

Works well and is the entry level piece to the beginning of a smart home hub. I wanted to give it a try before considering the investment into an Echo. It's great! Set an alarm ask questions and Alexa is on demand. No battery so it's always plugged in in case you're wondering
