If you are looking for some thing to add to your room as part of your smart home system, this is a good pick up. And for a good price. I was debating on getting the google home but it was way more expensive. Plus i'd rather say "Alexa" than "OK google" every single time. Works ok with phillips hue lights, but you have to remember specific names when you are issuing a command.

Bought one before for the office. Found it handy and bought one for the house.

Bought on sale as sticking suffers for the kids...now everyone can have Alexa!

This echo dot is amazing for how small it is!! You can ask it almost anything.

The echo dot works very well and easy to connect to other devices. The sound quality is fair, but can’t expect much for a device of this size.

Product works as it should. Easily connects with my alexa compatible products and makes day to day things easier. Sound is great for a small room. Bluetooth makes it great for larger rooms too since it allows it to easily connect to my Bose speaker.

Use this for home automation and it works great. Allows family to turn TV on/off, lights on/off etc. Nice to get some basic info from as well.

Looks very stylish and nice on my entertainment unit. Doesn't take up too much space. Gives answers to questions, can play songs you wanna hear, tells you how long it will take you to get to your destination and can tell you what the weather for the day will be.

These dots are so much fun to have! The kids use them with their homework too

best purchase i made last year. i originally ordered the Echo from amazon, and ended up buying 5 extra dots and giving them as Christmas presents. I love the voice activated prompts for radio and artist. Easy set up, a 5 year old could manage. don't pass this up

Saw it on TV and wanted to give it a try while it was on sale. Its ok i worked my lights with it. That's it , it ok i could live without it.

We have an Amazon Echo in our kitchen that we are very happy with. We wanted a unit in our bathroom, as well, but we didn't need the rich sound of the full unit. The Dot provides all the same functionality but gives up some sound quality. It is perfectly fine for our use. In fact,comparing the Echo and the Echo Dot, the Dot is either under-priced or the Echo is overpriced!

Love these but just upgraded to echo 8 for better sound. Remember these or the flex can connect to any Bluetooth speaker for more sound. Perfect for garage or anywhere u dont need the echo screens.
