This echo is fun to play with and think of questions and get the weather.

Small. Unnoticeable yet powerful and full of features. Not sure why anyone would pay an extra $100 for the Echo vs the dot. Just make sure you have a nice wireless bluetooth speaker to pair it to. I have mine paired to a Bose Mini Speaker and I love it!

Have two of these in my house to power my lights and thermostat. Love it.

This is the fourth Echo Dot I've purchased. I have one at home, at work and gave on to a sister and friend. I really love the ability to call from the Dot to someone who either has one or call from the Dot to someone's cell phone. I use it almost every day to tell me what the weather is expected to be like for the day. Alexa can give you a synopsis of the events of the day, play music and podcasts, link to your cell phone to stream music, place orders on Amazon Prime and much more. Honestly, there are tons of things an Echo Dot can do that I do not use it for. I am aware that there are some privacy concerns with all of these helps like Goggle Assistant. One has to be mindful of that. As with all technology, it has it pluses and minuses.

We have one for every family member. Love it! Now we play in every room.

What can I say, that already, mostly everyone knows! Play music, ask time, turn on and off lighthen, timers, games, control smart devices, thermostats, intercom functions, IFTTT functionality, Bluetooth, and many more features!

Grandchildren loves to name songs to play and they will sing with Alexa.

I bought it for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. We have it in our family room and want to get another one. We ask her about weather, news and to play music and she even will read books that are on my Amazon kindle. They are really a great buy.

From simple requests like "what's the weather?" to more complicated ones like ordering from Amazon Alexa is ready. With a Phillips Hue hub lights can be turned on and off. Music can play throughout the house on every echo! I own 1 echo, 3 echo dots and a tap.
