Red Hot Dots

It is so easy to tell Alexa to turn on and off the lights when you walk into or leave a room. Kind of lazy I guess, however think of it like a remote control for your TV but much more. Great for the elderly as well.

Strongest competitor in the voice controlled world

I can honestly say without a doubt that Alexa on the Amazon Echo is the best out of all of them hands down. The spot on voice recognition along with the largest compatibility with other products makes the Echo the clear choice, especially when it comes to home automation!

Still testing

The basic unit picks up sounds better than expected and speaker much better than expected given its size. The voice recognition learning period is longer and the unit has cut off unexpectedly a few times requiring resetting. Great reduction for the price.
