We have them all over the house and back yard the sound good and are easy to set up

Have both 2nd and 3rd Gen Echo's and this particular one (2nd Gen.)) was purchased to go in a space too small for a Gen. 3 and because the plug is smaller and fits in the otherwise full power strip. Didn't realize how cool they are till I bought them for Christmas gifts......and ironically also received one.. Really handy, entertaining and both versions sound great when playing music! Can't believe how handy and helpful they are....love 'em.

Don't waste your money on the echo get the echo dot! You dont need a speaker very loud and clear. Absolutely love it!

I read online reviews about this catagory of item; made the choice to purchase the echo as a christmas present for my adult son. Asking him how it was after he had hooked it up at his home, he advised that it was really a great device to have. If he were to purchase a special plug then he could tap into many other devices in his home. Very pleased to learn this was a successful gift to give. Have decided to purchase one for my Adult daughters birthday in February.

I bought this Echo Dot with a TP link Plug for a Great price during the holidays. Shipped fast & looks awesome! Bought for a gift so can't say how it works but I'm sure it works just fine. Brand New!

Amazon keeps making improvements to the Echo line via software upgrades so these devices just keep getting better. A recent upgrade added the ability to create groups of Echo devices allowing you to play music in multiple rooms. So now you can play music throughout the house - sort of like Sonos speakers. One note, this feature disables Bluetooth streaming to speakers. It only supports playing through the echo speaker or speakers connected via the 3.5 mm jack on the Dot.

The Echo Dot is a great way to get you morning started with news and music, check you schedule, turn off the lights, etc... The number of ways you can use this device to simplify your day is endless.

My Alexa Dot is the best. I use her at night while sleeping. Listening to soft music. She tells me the weather and news.

I like this product. The sound is good and it has been used a lot in my house. Love to listen to music and we have used it for spelling questions. We even used it one night to find a restaurant

Love listening to music in the bathroom while getting ready. Great sound quality and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

We love the Amazon Echo. Does everything the larger Amazon Products do, except with a loud speaker. BUT, it does connect via Bluetooth to any Bluetooth enabled speaker, including newer AV receivers.

I bought this in addition to the Echo Show for my boyfriend. It will allow him to sink them together and be able to use it as an intercom or be able to play music in multiple rooms. Great gift idea.

This is the best voice assistant you can buy right now in my opinion for use with home automation. I wish there was a feature to assign a device to a particular room to control only certain devices.

I have the Amazon Echo and the speaker is awesome. I bought the Echo Dot and and was disappointed with the speaker but, good to know that I can connect it with a bluetooth speaker.

Easy to ask it what the temp is on the way out the door, or get the latest news. We also use it to control IRIS outlets.
