Alexa works great with the apps she is approved for. The sound quality is not all that bad for low background music. I really enjoy it.

Great for helping kids sort out what is opinion vs fact. Nice to help get ready for the day (they ask about weather and make clothing choices). Works well w/ TP-Link plugs. Wish it could connect to WiFi speakers.

I bought the Echo Dot for my bedroom. I use it for my alarm, listen to music, get the latest weather report. I also have echo and the Phillips hue light system I plan on getting the smart thermostat next. Easy to use. Lots of skills, like Jeopardy and 20 questions. You can order a pizza for delivery. I love it. Bought it at Christmas time for 29.99

Very compact and easy to use despite never using before

At this price, it is a no brainer to bring Alexa into your home. The Echo Dot is a great size for any location. It is easily portable. I purchased a case for it on Amazon. From adding skills to what Alexa already knows, she has made my life easier; from simply asking for the weather, converting quarts to cups, playing music to controlling lights. It is a must have!

I bought this for my dad for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He has already ordered lights for his living room that connect with Alexa. He uses it every morning to check the weather in his area and play music from Pandora, and to shut off the light in his living room without walking around the couch. Would definitely consider buying another for the basement!

I have several of these that I use to play music, set alarms, etc. They are really nice to have and it has replaced my old alarm clock.

I purchased this dot because I wanted it to blend into the cabinets. Definitely a nice look and works great with my smart home devices.

Does everything I want it to do. I can't wait to link it with more and more smart home apps. Almost seems like it has a sense of humor.

Alexa is a must have item. I started with a echo dot and now I have a spot, a show and the echo plus. The longer I have them the more uses I find. I've added a few smart plugs, a smart thermostat, a ring doorbell bell/camera and some smart light bulbs and now the house is on almost total voice control. I'm feeling pretty smart for a baby boomer.

I have three now. I will set up the intercom function that is available. Should be fun. I listen to Iheart and Pandora and it is great.

Never a dull moment, Love the response time and quirkiness of Alexa. We have one in each room to quickly communicate through the house.

I would have never thought I needed this item but after seeing it demonstrated at a friends house, I had to have one. Bluetooth connectivity with my sound bar, easy timers and reminders as well as games. Seamless interface with AnyList app makes your grocery list as simple as "Alexa, add eggs to my shopping list." Easy set up to my home network.

If you want a smart home this is the item you need! Alexa is amazing she can play music, tell you the news, and a multitude of other smart home things if you have lights connected she can turn them on and off, if you have a roomba she can vacuum. Now that I have an Alexa I can never see my life without this product. It makes life so much easier!

We have an echo in one room and use the dots in other rooms rather move the Echo. Works great. It was plug and play and worked in minutes. We unplug and move the Echo Dots as needed and there is no need to reset the devices. So easy, works just like the Echo. The Dot works independent from the Echo so one may listen to two different devices at the same time.
