This was a great price and a good way to start using wireless for music. I also started using it to control children's bedroom lights.

The echo dot is one of 3 Amazon echo products I own and I believe it actually is more accurate than the full size echo. Works awesome.

The Echo Dot is my first step into smart home technology. For now, it’s only a personal voice assistant. It does a great job at this though and I’m excited to buy supporting products to add to its capabilities.

Gave Echo Dot as a Christmas gift. Receipent loves it. Putting it in the bedroom and can take it outside around the pool this summer.

Echo is a sound choice for automation and smart connectivity. However it does lack the ability to answer basic searches of information like the Google home. But it does offer tie in to amazon.com very smoothly.

Purchased this game for my daughter to play on her new Xbox One. She plays soccer. These games offer strategic entertainment for her.

Love that multi room music is available. Surround sound in your house. Dots are easy to hide around house as well. Best feature ever.

We don't use nearly enough of the features Echo has to offer like controlling lights and the thermostat, but my wife listens to music while she prepares dinner simply by asking for music, Alexa tells jokes and will give you fun facts and other information. The music won't play very loud so don't think you can party with Echo Dot but for the price it's great.

love the access in additional areas of the home. Using as an alarm clock and it now covers me when I have fallen asleep on the couch!

Seniors now feel like they can be part of new technology without having to learn anything new. Grandma was able to ask Alexa many questions without having to learn how to use a computer. This was a birthday gift. She was suspicious we were asking her to learn how to use a computer. However after it was installed, she loved using it.Perfect gift price.

I picked up one of these guys up. I also have a Samsung SmartThings Hub controlling several light switches. It's working pretty good. If the TV is up a little too loud sometimes it doesn't understand you. I've had a couple of random events with Alexa just saying something. You're not listening for it so you miss it for the most part. Plan to add several more.

Using as professional gifts. Fun "grown up" toy that many would never purchased for themselves. Good feedback so far from recipients.

I have personally purchased 4 of these and 3 full-size Echoes. They work great and will help you stay on track with your busy life. I also recommend them as helpful gifts for any elderly family members as they can help them remember to take medicine or keep appointments. I highly recommend them to anyone of any age.

Can’t beat the value and function. I can’t believe I waited this long to automate and put intelligent functions in my home..too cool!

Good to play music and have a lotta collections. Great to voice assist and stay laidback and relaxed for a friday evening with ALexa.

While still a bit of a novelty, the echo proves itself to be quite handy, especially when cooking. Setting timers and performing unit conversions while stirring a hot pot is extremely useful. Voice control of lights is also great, if you have any home automation gear. Hotword recognition is remarkably effective - if I talk loudly I can trigger it from almost anywhere in a 950 sq ft apartment, even in a different room. The built-in speaker is not stellar, but sounds surprisingly good for the cost and size.

Keep it on my nightstand. Great for an alarm, music, weather, etc.
