The uses for this little device are endless. Have Alexa turn on your lights, tell you the weather forecast, play Nirvana, etc, etc.

I purchase this new technology for my husband. We thought we'd get up with the times. So far, we have been able to correctly get the daily weather and set the timer. It has difficulty recognizing all our commands and we have to repeat the query in different formats. It was also difficult to connect to our online music streaming to connect with our Bose sound system all together. All in all, I think it needs some improvement in receiving commands, but a nice product in any event.

excellent for everything I need to know, news, weather, music and if do not have some one to talk, hey, Alexa is my best friend. :)

This is my second echo dot and i got it for my bedroom. Just get it peeps to make your like easy :) She understand very clearly.

It works really well and great for music and amazon features. We were gifted this and we ended up buying another one for Christmas.

Bought on Black Friday and came with free outlet. Great way to enter the automated home control. Fun discovering new uses for Echo.

A perfect compliment to the Sonos Play 5. You can use the line out on the Echo Dot to plug straight in to the Play 5 to get amazing sound out of the Echo / Amazon. The original Echo sounds great but integrating it into the Sonos system takes it to a completely different level. And when full Sonos integrationis added later this year it will be even better.

Added as additional device with my Alexa, works great...wish when they intro the new gen devices, this one was part of the upgrade.

It's a great product but the only gripe that I have is that you can't use Spotify with it, unless you have a premium account. Otherwise it's great for the price

I purchased this as a gift & it arrived very fast! It's a great little product with lots of fun features. I use mine to listen to music while I work from home! And also set reminders for myself. Very handy.

My son said he actually got a response once for doing so. Works well and have one of the first Echo's. Personal opinion is that Alexa is smarter than Siri, but no Alexa Car play! Best voice recognition that I ever had was on some Moto G phones that I had for work about three years ago. Say the phones name and it could do all sorts of things. Apple, who I love and have had phones since original iPhone is still catching up.

I bought the Amazon Echo Dot because I was curious and it was on sale. I'm still trying to figure it all out but so far I like it.

This Amazon Dot was purchased as a 2nd device to the big one in our house. The Dot works exactly the same as the large one, the only negative is the speaker. It’s good, but not as good as the larger device.

I was skeptical with this product at first, then wife showed me all the functions(skills) and now I'm really enjoying the product.

It's great to use it for a music player, clock and alarm. Though you'll need the app to set it up, which is a bit clunky.
