As always with the Amazon Echo product line, the Dot is an awesome device that increases flexibility to your Echo environment.

I have the Echo as well and got this so that I can have Alexa down in our Family Room as well. Works great, as expected! Cool thing I noticed is that if both Echo or Echo Dot hears me, the closest one to me is the one that responds. Not sure how they figure that out but cool!

I purchased the Dot along will a Phillips smart light hub,lights and a Wemo outlet. It has been working great. The Dot works very well turning on the lights and the Wemo outlet which I have our TV plugged into. It's amazing the amount of information that you can get my just asking. The grandkids love to ask it to tell them a joke.. Which it will!

I have these things all over my house, so I decided to put one in my car. Hooked up to my mobile hot-spot and was good to go.

The echo dot can be extremely useful if you learn how to use it correctly; I like the practicality of Alexa’s many functions.

The funny thing about this purchase is that my brother and I brought this for our dad as a Father's Day gift, well lets just that our day is old school and didn't want it for he was scared it may accidentally order items without his permission. So I ended up with the Echo and I love it, it works great wonders and I will never stop using it.

I love having the Amazon Echo Dot. It is such a fun family gadget. We ask Alexa the weather or to tell us the news. It is great to get so much info just by talking to Alexa. She will even sing Happy Birthday or tell a joke. I also bought one for my mother with impaired vision. She uses it for a timer and many other helpful tools.

This has been one of my best purchases ever. This thing does it all, I added the WeMo and it turns on lights and anything else

Bought them from my kids and had to get one for myself. First and foremost Alexa is my alarm clock, voice activated it's super simple to set and wakes me up every day. It syncs with my Google Calendar, gives me the weather in the morning, sports updates and answers trivia questions..... not to mention Pandora when I want music. Great Purchase.

I bought an Echo Dot as a gift for my husband and he is getting a lot of use out of it. We live in the country; so, we can't make full use of features like ordering pizza or an Uber ride, but we did set up controls for electronic devices. It has been pretty handy and is definitely getting a lot of use. Plus, it's fun to ask random questions!

Works great, sounds good, easy to use. Very happy with it.

Great for in the kitchen or workshop. Have it connected to Pandora and iHeartRadio. Just ask to play a station and it does!!

I already have the Amazon Echo in my Living Room. I wanted to add a similiar unit to my bedroom and felt the Amazon Dot would be a great alternative to buying another Echo. Although the sound cannot compare to the Echo, it is just as functional and useful and is also hooked up to my small radio via the Aux Out option allowing for enhanced sound.

I got this as an extension of our Echo to use upstairs. The cellphone app was easy to install and connection to our primary Echo was seemless via our home WiFi. Sound quality is excellent although not as strong due to the smaller speaker size. If you want to expand Echo coverage without spending for a full size Echo, I highly recommend the Dot.

Enjoying this little gadget. I’m using it mainly for background music playing. I will hook it up to my TV/Sound system soon.

I am using this to expand my Echo throughout the house. It’s great since I have been slowly expanding my smart home devices.

Easy to set up. Works just as well as the other Alexa products, with fair sound, but not quite as full in the bass tones.
