Great for bedroom. Sound is awesome Small but mighty.

Our kids got this for their dad for his birthday and he loves it. He loves technology and it's awesome. Our three year old daughter loves telling Alexa what to do. Especially telling her to sing happy birthday. It is awesome to have especially when cleaning or anything and you don't have to constantly change the music you can tell Alexa do.

Alexa is an awesome product I believe that it's my favorite electronic device in the house does everything for me I love it

The Echo Dot has 6 mikes versus Home Minis 2, making it more receptive to voices and an audio jack for an external speaker.

I have yet to learn all this product can do. I have watched youtube videos and have seen some pretty cool things. I have used my Echo for the basics, setting timers, music, daily reminders, weather, and basic questions. My daughter was bored folding clothes and asked Alexa to tell her a story and Alexa did...it was pretty cute.

I bought 1 for our grad son, then I bought 1 for our son, now for my other son, after they told each other they would like.

Easy to set up and use. Very helpfu and inexpensive, too.

purchased two of these for Christmas gifts - one to 80 year+ parents who barely understand technology and one to my daughter for her dorm room. My parents love it as they can know tell Alexa to play music they like, find out the weather and more. My daughter loves having it in her college apartment for too many reasons to list.

Bought one for each of my sons. More of a toy than anything. I may get one for myself if I ever figure out a practical use.

Great deal for the money. If they respond as well as my echo all will be fine. If NOT they may go back. But so far so good.

This little thing does many tasks for us throughout the day. We can tell it what to do to control lights and other smart devices. We ask alexa to add something to the list and there it is...milk, bagels, whatever. She plays games and looks up info for ay questions you may have. Oh, and dont forget the music she plays at your request.

The Echo Alexa is great. I have it controlling my home theater by connecting it to the Logitech Harmony remote and it controls the Hues ligthing system as well. You can ask Alexa lots of fun things like Siri and she will answer. She even tells you new jokes everyday if you ask. System sets up easily and works seamlessly so far. It's a WINNER

The Amazon Echo Dot is a great addition to your smart home. I was easily able to integrate it with an Ecobee thermostat and TP-Link smart plugs and switches to use voice commands. Playing music is another pro, especially if you use Amazon music or Spotify. Using other skills is hit or miss. Also, playing podcasts needs some work as only the most recent episode can be retrieved using Alexa. Overall, a nice and inexpensive way to add voice commands to your smart home set up.

Adding more dots to have music through out the home. Have to plug in with minijack cable if using external speakers and the speakers themselves cannon be connected via bluetooth or latency issues.

I got 2 Echos & 2 Dots last year and have been using & enjoying them almost daily. The Dot lacks bass and volume, but is a great deal when on sale. Setup was quick and easy. I have had a few issues with WiFi connectivity, but I believe that is because of my WiFi signal strength and not a problem with the devices. I really enjoy multi-room music. I turn it on in my bathroom when I get ready, and I turn it off in the living room as I leave.

I bought this on sale and for the price it meets my gadget obsession. Setup was easy and I enjoy being able to obtain varied information using voice commands. The built in speaker is adequate with the plus of connecting your choice of bluetooth speakers for a more robust sound. Still working through it recognizing my voice accurately. The only downside is the thought it is like Big Brother is in my room given it is always listening. This aspect caused me to give it four stars.
