Love it easy to set up . Works great . Perfect size

If you are unsure about buying an Amazon Tap or Amazon Echo - think again. You should really get those products and a few echo dots for your home. It is an easy way to check the weather, your schedule, and just about anything in your life. If you have a Prime account this really steps up your game to get items to you faster.

The sound could be louder overall but it’s just as simple as connecting then to Bluetooth speakers. Great price!

This is an awesome product. I bought one for someone else. I thought it was so much fun, I bought one for myself.

I'm leader in a church and bought 8 echos's for some of our young people as a special gift. They loved it so much I went back to BB and purchased 8 more for those students who are getting A's and doing well in church and school. I even got one for my wife she use it ro play music get the weather...etc. Great product.

I love the Echo Dot! It is so versatile! I use it in my den to listen to music. I use it to get the latest weather. I can ask it questions and get instant answers. I can use it as a timer or an alarm clock. It is fantastic and I highly recommend it. The sound quality is excellent. I cannot say enough good things about it!

Very helpful item to have as the kind of music you like is always available, an alarm can be set easily with just a voice request, and information such as weather forecasts are immediately provided. We are expanding requests we make more and more as we get used to the echo. And, the price was right as we bought it on sale.

I got this on sale for $39.99 and it works great for what I want. I mostly wanted to use it with Phillips Hue lights as well as some other features like setting a timer in the kitchen. Playing music isn't bad but if you looking to play a lot of music, I'd recommend the Tap or Echo. The Dot is great for just utilizing Alexa

The Dot is a nice introduction to Alexa. Especially on sale, it’s hard to pass by. It’s fully functional and intuitive, easy to set up and fun to use. The only downside is that for a modest premium you can upgrade to the Echo, which has significantly improved sound quality for music. Either way, great toys.

I put these little dots all over the house and it's been a lot of fun. Can she answer everything? No. Maybe only about 60% of what we ask her and she clearly doesn't understand context like the google assistant does. However, it's cheap, it's fun. One thing we've been utilizing is "dropping in" on another room and basically using it as an intercom system around the house. The true power is when you enable "skills" which are basically other companies tying into the Alexa API and being able to use her. Example, my radio station and sports teams have both done this. So I can ask Alexa to play my station or ask her questions about my sports team and she will "open" up that service and start playing news updates from my team's broadcast channel, etc. There are thousands of companies that have tied into her from controlling things in your house to playing trivia. Yes, they use that one too much. Overall, this is fun because it does a lot and keeps growing plus was super cheap. Definitely buy for multiple rooms and get into skills. Even download the Alexa app on your phone first and look through skills if you want to explore before buying. Some other things we do: - sonos - she updates us on amazon orders (shipping, arrival, etc) - trivia games with kids - bedtime stories for kids (this is AMAZING and has been a game changer for our kids who fight sleep) - lullabies for kids to sleep (same as above) - intercom system - "Good morning Alexa" is a fun daily thing! - order stuff from amazon - weather reports before I travel somewhere or at home - history lessons on people from kids homework - sports team updates

i have one of this and the Google version so i felt i wanted to get her this i like it and feel she will as well

This is an excellent product. I bought 2 of them. One black and one white. My kids absolutely loved them. The voice recongnition and the AI behind it is amazing. You can literarily speak to it cross the room. We used it to control smart switches and turn on/off lights and fans. Didn't try the intercom feature yet.

Been thinking about taking the plunge into the new type of voice tech gadgets and thought this would be perfect.

This is my second Dot. I love the Echo Dot! I have three in different rooms around my house! I simply love them!
