The echo dot was purchased for Christmas. It was part of a deal with a smart plug. I am enjoying a lot of the abilities, music, and having fun with the interaction with the A.I. The ability to have lights controlled by voice is awesome. Ended up buying 2 more. Recommened to family, then they each bought one.

It’s an Amazon Echo Dot. What more is there to say. Does what it’s supposed to when you ask it to. Love my Alexa

The echo dot is a very good product Alexa she is a very intelligent thing I recommend this to everybody that likes to talk to me. I like it better than the the big Alexa thing the only thing different is the big one has the speaker and the little one does have a small speaker but they do very close to the same thing

Cheaper than dot nice to have these in additional rooms. Can make calls from room to room. Lots of nice features

Works really well with Alexa. I have a number of connected lights and plugs and this is perfect to control them.

I very much like the echo dot and its functionality, however it definitely lacks the sounds quality of the tower. If you aren’t stuck on sound quality, this is a really great product.

Got my 10 year old this for Christmas, she uses it every night to read her bedtime stories as she goes to sleep, sets an alarm to wake her up in the morning, and plays games or music when cleaning her room. Parental controls on amazon make it very easy to modify what she can access too!

I can't "ECHO" enough how good of a product the Echo Dot is. This product has given me many answers to questions, directions to places, told me Picasso's full name...ask Alexas "what's Pablo Picasso's full name" it will amaze you, and given me many lazy nights where all I have to do is tell Alexa "good night" and all of my lights turn off. This product really is great, of course, with every device with a virtual assistant, you have that question that the device cant handle or answer but the Echo Dot does a pretty good job mostly every time. The Echo Dot is also amazing for families, it can play games like Music Trivia and can speak to other Echo Dots in other rooms, allowing for you to tell your kids to come downstairs its time to eat, or let them know that they're late for school. Coming from someone who loves Apple devices and can't believe that I actually got one of these while waiting for the Homepod... let's just say "although I'll be getting the Homepod I will definitively be keeping my Echo Dots around because they seem to be ECHOING pretty well!

This is the third Echo I have purchased. Two as gifts and one for myself. This is a great item for music lovers. You will learn that "Alexa" can do so much more, like the weather, she can tell jokes, tell you about traffic and play games with you. I connected speakers to my Echo and The sound is great. I like very much.

I received a few of these , one in black and one in white , so they blend into any décor. Alexa is very Smart !

Easy to use and the sound is clear and louder. Now I can listen to my favorite song.

It's great for a small space, I use it as my alarm and overall is a good extension of my echo plus.

Works as advertised. I’m still learning about all the features. Works great with Tp link plug for bedroom lamp.

Really enjoyed the music portion and being able to hook it up to my surround sound. It's not as smart as google home though. I kept asking it questions and it would respond with I don't know that yet. I asked google home the same questions and it would be able to answer. Overall I think it's a good product but not fit for me that's likes to ask a lot of questions.

This was something that my kids wanted. So I purchased it for them for Christmas, so it has not. Even used yet.

Amazon echo dot is a good accessory for an additional room and helps you stay connected to your smart features.

This little guy is great on its own but is perfect as an addition to the Amazon Echo. I have the Echo in my kitchen where I use it all the time and then I have the Dot upstairs in my bedroom. What I like is that you can have both and they will both connect to the one app. Very convenient! I bought 4 for Christmas presents.

This does the job like my Amazon Echo except this is miniature and the speaker sound quality is not as amazing.
