I got this thinking I would need to hook speaker to so I could listen to music but the sound on it is great. It's a fun lil gadget to have. I use in my bathroom to listen music when getting ready in morning or set my timer so I leave house on time or check the weather for the day. I'm glad that I purchased this.

This is a great product. We connected her to music playing apps, she searches the web pretty good and we use her in the kitchen to help with cooking tutorials. The only negative aspect is that she randomly turns on with similar sounding words to her name so we changed her name. She would keep saying pardon or then play randomly paused music so just have her close out of music apps. She needs to learn your speech but once she does it works really well.

Ended up getting five of these to put one in each room and use as an intercom system as well as other features.

I wanted one for upstairs in my bedroom and downstairs in my family room and it has been perfect in both places

"Alexa" comes in handy when you need some information and your hand are not free. Sometimes it speaks without being spoken to which is a little creepy at times but overall it's good.

Bought for my 82 year old mother who uses it for music, to call us, find out when her local store closes and she is prepared to use it to call 911 should an emergency happen. It provides the same service a life alert can. We have on upstairs and one downstairs so her entire home is covered.

Bought the Echo on a whim, figured at $50 plus a Best But $10 rewards certificate it was a low risk purchase. So happy that I did. Really simple to setup and use. My only complaint is that I haven't figured out how to get the Echo to communicate with my Logitech Harmony Hub, but I blame the issues on Logitech, not Amazon.

Very limited in terms of sound. Hard to hook up with other Bluetooth devices that are not listed in the app. Good starter for small space.

The picture on this Sony TV is the best I've ever seen. The Smart TV set up Wizard made it a breeze! WELL DONE!

Glad we purchased Alexa! Love that all I have to do is ask her to tell me the time or weather! Great assistant!

Was not sure I wanted this, but a combination of my previous experience with Amazon told,me to buy. Glad I did.

This was a gift for my parents who just moved into a new home where light switches are located in the most inconvenient spots. I bought some smart outlets and connected them to Alexa for my parents.They love this and now I don't worry as much about them getting up in the night and tripping on something.

I wish it did more... but I guess i Can't find many uses for it. Works great though. I love it mostly for music.

I enjoy using the Echo primarily for voice control of my house. And, occasionally to ask questions for ease of access. But it seems to not work well all the time. Sometimes it has difficulty understanding what I said, especially if there is much of any background noise ie TV. And, it seems all too often Echo can't answer simple questions which should be readily available on the web. So, not yet the home assistant that I hope it will be one day.

Helpful in everyday life events. Very useful in information gathering on real estate as we are looking to move.

I bought the first generation Echo Dot. I'm a bit annoyed because at the time, it cost $90 for this device. It does the same stuff like the larger Echo, but the speakers are obviously weaker. I use this mostly for nightstand use. It's a great alarm, but a little weird when trying to tell it to "turn off" in the morning.

Great for getting answers from internet. Don’t have to get on computer or phone. Fun games. Very entertaining.

These things are great. All of the features of the full-sized echo, just with a smaller speaker. These are great for rooms where you want voice control or the other features of the Echo, but won't necessarily be listening to a significant amount of music. Also great if you want to play music through your existing stereo.

I just bought this echo for my dining/kitchen/living room, and it works great in tandem with my other echo. I can now walk around in peace knowing that Big Brother Amazon is always listening in! All jokes aside having an echo in the kitchen is one of the best improvements I've made to my apartment.

I love this product! I can tell it what to do and if I have a question it responds and everything is so clear.
