I bought this product as xmas gift, because i had one and new that my family could enjoy this product as well.

This is actually my second Echo Dot. I love being able to speak a command without having to reach for a remote. I'm hoping that Amazon is able to successfully partner with Comcast as there is not yet a skill to effectively manage my TV viewing experience. Fortunately, I have a Logitech hub and am able to get by.

Amazon had this on sale for $39.99, and so did Best Buy! Amazon wouldn't sell me one because of some stupid reason, so I told them I could go to BB and get one! I wanted to white one, but they didn't have it. It worked out for the best since the Roku, the Apple TV, the Chromecast, and the TV are black! It all matches!

I love the Echo and everything about Alexa I believe these devices can benefit people in there everyday doings.

I purchased this item to give a try, now its awesome to have one personal secretary as you need not to type anything just speak an Alexa will listen to you, Very good if you want your home to be smart. I have connected my smart TV with Alex and I need not to use remote(useful when u misplace your remote or you are out of batteries). U need to have a membership with amazon for music, if you have amazon prime membership then you are good.

My daughter loves having music in her room and listening to audio books. The Dot works perfect for that space.

I love this product. It ties right with my Amazon Prime account so I can listen to my Amazon Prime Music. I connect the Bluetooth to my existing stereo system to listen to music. Alexa can pick us up from across the room. I really like the Flash Briefing news feature so I can listen to various news outlets all in a row. I wish she was able to tie into my Apple services for calendaring and music. But, Apple is coming out with their own device.

I purchased three amazon echos. I gave on to each of my granddaughters and they are thrilled with them. They even use them as an alarm to get themselves up for school. The third one I kept and now have two in my home. I listen to music while getting ready for work instead of watching tv.

Out of all the smart speakers and virtual assistant out there, Alexa is the best. Amazon really knows what they are doing when it comes to these devices. The Amazon echo.works with almost any smart service including IFTTT, Phillips hue, Logitech Harmony, Lou Tron, Samsung, and many car manufactureS.

After reading reviews and looking at you tube videos seeing how many people raved about this thing I had to try it for myself. Must admit I'm glad I did. I ended buying a few more for the house and as gifts to my family members for the holidays. Alexa makes everything a breeze and easy as possible. Best assistant ever.

This thing is going to be great although I haven’t got to open it yet i no it will be fun for the whole family

It's a addition to our main Alexa. Compact, modern design, with this you don't need intercom or switch anymore

The product itself is good but I find that when I ask Alexa questions, she doesn't know the answers to most everything. But I just hooked her up to my Hue lights and that is great.

Bought this as a compiment to our previously purchased Echo (fullsize) that resides in our kitchen. This one is for the bedroom to act as an alarm clock, music player and home automation assistant. The small built in speaker is adequate for single room use. Alexa's voice recognition is great and getting better.

So easy to use. It fits anywhere. My seven year old son uses it everyday. Alexa answers all his questions.

Great compliment to my Echo. The 'drop in' feature is perfect for communicating with the kids in the basement.

So excited to get such an awesome deal on Black Friday. Have been wanting for awhile and was not disappointed.

Love it. I mainly use it to control my lights. You can pair it with dish and your TV which is pretty awesome!!

I purchased a total of 7 Dots because I loved it so much. I gave them as gifts for Christmas and everybody was thrilled. Alexia is informational as well as a lot of fun. I am planning on getting another one for the kitchen. I already have one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Best purchase ever!

Purchased the Amazon Echo Dot as a gift and she loves it! It gives her a ton of information like wether advisories, team scores and she sets her wake up alarm through it. Great slick black look and feel, and a fun little tool if you want to be a little lazy and let technology do the work for you. She loves it but did mention that she wishes it had a internal battery source instead of having to keep it plugged into the wall outlet for power.
