These are good to use as add ons to put Alexa in other room of the house. I wouldnt use this for a primary.

I already had an Amazon Echo (the taller one) in my living room, but I wanted one of these for the bedroom. It was easy to setup with our Hue lights and is very responsive to our speech. In my experience, the responses from the Amazon products have been outdoing the Google products.

I actually bought two of these as gifts and they loved them, now I want one for myself. They do everything.

Best $30 I have ever spent on a toy for years! I use this thing everyday and wonder how I loved without it.

I purchased this to integrate with Samsung smartthings to control the lighting in our home. It works well with 99% accuracy is response to what we want it to do and 99% of time it recognizes what we want it to do. It's easy to setup, just follow the instructions. More than one account can be used without any issues.

I have two of these in my home. Bought one for my best friend for Christmas. Can’t wait for her to open it.

awesome little device. Does everything the larger, regular size echo can do, minus the better sound quality

We love her for the most part. There's a ton of things you can ask her, but there's also a lot of things she can't answer. However, she's updating every week and enabled to do more and more. I also programmed her with a Google skill, which enables her to use Google when Alexa doesn't have an answer. Must be an Amazon Prime member to do a lot of the other things, which they don't really advertise. Overall, fun for the family for fifty bucks.

Not quite as robust a sound level compared to the larger Echo, but as good as my Sony clock radio/iPod dock. I really like being able to control various lights throughout the house without having to yell down to the main Echo. It's smaller size is less conspicuous and works well in the smaller room size.

IT WORKS WELL TO CONTROL MY SMART HOME AND QUESTIONS I ASK IT! THE VOLUME IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH ON SOME OCCASIONS. TO PROPERLY CONTROL A HOME YOU NEED ONE IN EVERY ROOM. TO CONTROL THE HOME ENTER ONLY SHORT NAMES FOR BEST RESULTS. IT WILL WORK WITH OTHER SOUNDS IN THE ROOM, BUT YOU HAVE TO TALK LOUDER AND CLEARER.

I bought it for my father as a Christmas gift. After doing his usual research, he decided that he didn't want it - that it wouldn't do anything that he doesn't already have. He does not want a smart system in his house and still listens to an old plug in radio, which he's happy with. Now, I have it and maybe subconsciously, that was what was intended all along. I like the alarm, the timer, MPR, the weather updates. It's all great so far.

We own the larger one and used this one as an addition for a smaller room. The sound is good and we use the same features we'd use on the bigger one. I guess the biggest difference between the two would be sound quality for a large space. If you're not needing to fill a mega-room with sound, this one is perfect.

So many things you can do. My 5 year old loves this. Games, shopping, general info... Great device to have.

I love my Echo Dot. I also have an Echo which to is a great product. I use these items multiple time a day.

I have five of these and it acts as my PA system in the house and as my multi room audio system. Works great

We now have an Amazon Echo product in almost every room. The echo dots are so convenient, easy to put in a bathroom, or spare bedroom, or even the kids' rooms. Convenient to connect them in groups, play music, set alarms, use as intercoms, etc. Cannot imagine life without them now.

I purchased 2 of these as a gift for a friend. Personally, I have the Google Home and Google Minis. But, the person I'm buying these for has an Amazon Alexa system. All good...

Easy setup. Great for controlling Fire TV and other smart devices. My only complaint is the sound quality, which is significantly lacking when compared to the Google Home Mini.

This Echo Dot does everything the Amazon Echo does, what a great little product ! The major difference is the Dot doesn't have as good Speakers ! But you can connect to speakers or headphones through Bluetooth or 3.5 mm stereo cable to play music from Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn

I have the larger Echo and love it, but because I use it so much, this was a nice addition to keep in my bedroom! It's great they are both connected to my app so I can add things to my Shopping List or To Do list and I don't need to be in the same room now! I think I'll be adding additional "Dot's" to each room!
