I use Alexa for quite a few things from alarm clock to turning off and on lights. It is worth the money.

Alexa is a cooperative and capable assistant. Access to news, information and music is good. Sound is so-so but easily connects to a separate Bluetooth speaker (not incl.)

I have an Echo in my kitchen. I wanted another one for my bedroom to use as a alarm clock and to play soft music to sleep by. Plus I can control the lights in the house and have Alexa secure the front door while laying down. Wifi light switches and door deadbolt are sold separate. Check for compatibility.

"Alexa, Entertain Me". The world accessed by a voice command. Star Trek realized. The Echo Dot is a great entry price point device to see what this internet search technology can do for you. I added a bluetooth speaker to my Dot for a bigger sound but its function works great out of the box.

Amazon Dot can can give you so much information it not funny. Like having your own personal assistant.

We used it often once first purchased and should more. Somehow it disconnected from wi-fi and it is a bit challenging to reconnect through the app. Should be doable though.

Bought this one to add to another room and was purchased with the TP link plug on special. Works good.

This is nearly the 10th Echo Dot that I’ve purchased, many for gifts. My son and daughter in law were blessed with this one and they just said.... Did you know that you can ask Alexa to play jungle sounds or ocean sounds? How nice is that to relax to... Thank you Alexa...

We have purchased 7 echo dots for our home to work in each room. They are awesome and so easy our 5 and 8 year old can use them with no issues. They also double as an intercom system between rooms in our house, which is an amazing feature! We absolutely love these and would recommend to all!

This little thing WORKS! I love it! I have three in my houses which I use to control my Home lighting. I love to set timers when Im cooking playing a specific song I want. My 8 year old niece put it to the test asking Alexa a million questions Glad to say I was really impressed! A definite home essential.

I have this connected to my home stereo via bluetooth and use it to control Wemo devices. Works great!
