All of the echo's are fun but the echo dot is great for gifting. It's affordable! The person receiving the gift will love you forever. The Echo dot gets the party started!

My kids are having a blast learning fun facts about whatever they want and listening to music on the Echo. Its fun and convenient. I was going to purchase an alarm clock for my teenager but he is really enjoying the voice of Missy Elliot waking him up in the morning instead

This little thing WORKS! I love it! I have three in my houses which I use to control my Home lighting. I love to set timers when Im cooking playing a specific song I want. My 8 year old niece put it to the test asking Alexa a million questions Glad to say I was really impressed! A definite home essential.

Alexa is a cooperative and capable assistant. Access to news, information and music is good. Sound is so-so but easily connects to a separate Bluetooth speaker (not incl.)

We used it often once first purchased and should more. Somehow it disconnected from wi-fi and it is a bit challenging to reconnect through the app. Should be doable though.

"Alexa, Entertain Me". The world accessed by a voice command. Star Trek realized. The Echo Dot is a great entry price point device to see what this internet search technology can do for you. I added a bluetooth speaker to my Dot for a bigger sound but its function works great out of the box.

Having a lot of fun with the echo dot. It now controls my lights with my new mart bulb. It's nice to be able to turn on and off and dim the lights with a voice command. We have purchased 7 echo dots for our home to work in each room. They are awesome and so easy our 5 and 8 year old can use them with no issues. They also double as an intercom system between rooms in our house, which is an amazing feature! We absolutely love these and would recommend to all!
