alexa is awesome. understandjng what i am saging and intergration with 3rd party products is awesome.

The first couple days of owning this I spent most of my time just asking Alexa a ton of questions. Now I use the device to for more practical reasons-- Alarms, reminders, automating lights, music playlists, the list goes on. It's something I can honestly say I use everyday.

My whole family loves Alexa. "She" controls our lights, tv, and thermostat; plays music, tells us jokes, maintains our grocery list, gives us weather forecasts and serves as our alarm clock. We love "her" so much we already bought her twin, also named Alexa (ironically enough - lol) for another room. :)

We have 2 of these and I am looking to purchase the Echo Tap. Nice that you can hook it up to an auxiliary speaker or system via audio cable and project to Bluetooth speaker as well. After-market chargers and speakers make this portable. Linking to our Firestick very easy.

A birthday gift for my Nephew, which was on his wish list. He did the research and loves this product.

Wasn't sure about the dot compared to the Echo...but it is really very powerful and works seamlessly!

I enjoy my dot. It's great for getting quick updates on news, traffic and weather without having to pull out my phone or computer. It's fun to play games with and makes ordering stuff from amazon a breeze. It's also nice that from time to time amazon offers discounts when you order using an Alexa device.

This device is by far the coolest. I like to use it with my lifx bulbs and the IFTTT app works great.

I love the Amazon Echo Dot. I use it to control lamps, Christmas tree stream Pandora and information.

Love this product. Now have to get a bigger one too. Love all the features. Will highly recommend!!!!

HAD SOME TROUBLE SETTING UP THE ECHO DOT. THIS WAS MY SECOND AND I HAD A NEW INTERNET PASSWORD. FOUND OUT ONE HAD TO RESET THE DOT BACK TO ITS DEFLAULT POSITION. DID NOT SAY SO IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. SECOND UNIT WOULD NOT PLAY MUSIC FOR FREE LIKE THE FIRST. WOULD PLAY A RADIO STATION FOR FREE.

I use it at my home, I gave one to my girlfriend and two in my Corporate Housing property. Works great

Bought this on a one day sale at what I thought was a very good price. I probably wouldn't have purchased it but couldn't resist. As the some other reviewers had said, it doesn't have a great speaker, but for the size it's adequate. Hooked it up with a Bluetooth speaker and the sound was great.

When I bought it, I thought it didn't contain a speaker, as it recommends bluetooth speakers to connect and I had heard that was why the Echo Dot was so small. It has a small speaker built in, and we use it in our home Office, so don't need a lot of sound. A great compliment to our kitchen-located Echo.

I purchased this to connect to my Amazon Echo, and it works great! It can hear me clearly from a few rooms away, turn on the TV, change channels & volume levels, play music (I purchased a separate speaker for it), turn on lights, answer questions... A truly amazing product with limitless possibilities.

Really fun gadget. My favorite thing is playing thunder shower sounds at night to help me fall asleep. If you can afford it, spend a little more and buy the echo with better speaker. The built in speaker on the dot is a bit wimpy. You can also pair this with a Bluetooth speaker.

Now I love this little device. Great for everything. You can turn your house into a smart home with this device. You can ask it any question and she will answer. You can listen to music and play games she also tells jokes. You can set reminders and alarms for any time.
