Love this product. So many uses, and still discovering all we can do with Alexa. Easy to use and set up. Have had this about a month so far. Can pair up with a blue tooth speaker or just use the one that Alexa has built in. Decent price.

Hello, just wanted to say this is a nice little item to have for the money, I got it at Christmas so it was on sale for the $39.99. I use it mostly for amazon music it has a decent-ish speaker if you are just listening in one room, although I did get a nice Bose speaker to connect it to which of course makes the sound fabulous. It's was s little tricky to set up, I'm quite "non-techy" though, and a little tricky when trying to recall certain albums you've downloaded to prime that you want to ask for, but great at asking to shuffle through a certain artist or band. She doesn't exactly know as many things as they like to make you think she knows, but since I'm not really using it too much for that no biggie, also not using any of the smart home features for her - as of yet. I'm a little nervous something is going to get ordered on accident, I've gotten emails about ask Alexa the specials of the day, and it's as though she wants to order it for you right away! No...please, just asking a question. Anyway I think the Dot was a good buy for the price, I would not of spent the money on the larger Alexa home thing, sounds like the Dot pretty much does it all for far less than half the price.

Extremely easy to set up and use. Purchased smart light bulbs too, and love that I can control them with my voice. If you are a Prime member, this is a must too. It is so much fun to request songs and have them played instantly.

The Amazon Echo Dot is a great voice assistant that doesn't require a fake accent to understand commands. Easy to set up and works with nearly any accent. The microphones are pretty powerful too and can hear you from any part of your room. The Dot makes a great companion in the car on auxiliary if you have a good data plan to go with yourself.

I am a busy, busy person around the house and Alexa is wonderful. I use her a lot for lists and I don't have to stop to write things down anymore. She also comes in handy to keep children occupied, playing games, telling the weather, etc. It was a fantastic housewarming gift from our grandson and don't know how I've lived without it all this time

Went in on Black Friday for one purchase and they had sold out but on my way out I saw the Echo and because of the low price I decided to buy it and try it out. So glad I did... Easy installation, low energy consuming, and I can hide it anywhere without it being an eye sore. I also didn't know they had it in white, going back to get a white one.

Super fun and interactive for all ages that can talk and hear

Since purchasing our Echo Dot, we have added several WiFi switches to control various lights (and now Christmas lights) around the house. We use it regularly for the shopping and to-do lists, to check weather and traffic, and for playing music (we have it paired to our stereo via blutooth) Recently bought two more for Christmas gifts to family.

A device that at first you feel silly talking to, but soon you find it can do so much. Sitting in our living room 20-30' away we asked Alexa about this week's weather. We asked about a movie playing in a town not far away. We tell her to play Christmas music in the living room on the Sonos surround system. She does all this almost flawlessly!

I was in the store shopping for a new phone with my daughter when she brought over the Echo Dot. She said, "If you want to know what to get me for Christmas get me this." So I did. Needless to say I saw why on Christmas when she hooked it up. The sound coming out of that little box was incredible! All she could do with it was amazing to me!

We recently got one of these for our kitchen. We bought it on sale and it was a “why not” purchase. It’s been fun to use “hey Alexa, tell me a joke” as well as useful “what’s the weather today?” We use it to play music and podcasts all the time. Thinking about getting more for our main living areas. Our son has one in his room and he has all of his gadgets connected. He loves to be able to verbally control everything! Since we liked it so we’ll, we bought more for Xmas gifts :)

Perfect for playing our favorite music and simple questions.

This headset was very easy to pair with my tv. Quick and easy. Sound quality is great, and it is very comfortable to wear with the various earhooks, pads. Etc. That come with it. You can also pair it with 2 devices at the same time. A great little package for the money. I recommend Motorola products. The volume is very easy to adjust also.
