Philips hue integration is lack luster compared when using Home Kit and siri on an iOS device. There's a lot of things that the Echo can not do easily. You have to set up echo after you set up the philips hue. Which I should be able to call out a scene and it just work. Which it doesn't unless you set up a group for the scene. I hope it gets better and easier to use for the echo. Other than that it's amazing using the echo!

The Amazon Echo Dot is a great idea. Have the power of Alexa voice assistant and connect it to a speaker of your choosing. I connect mine to a Bose Soundtouch 30 and get all the benefits of voice controlled music through a phenomenal sound system! I recommend the Echo Dot for the fun and convenience!

This is a helpful item to have at the house. The kids like to use it to help them learn new things.

Have not used this yet as it is. Xmas gift for kids but the options of what it does sound very fun.

Much smaller than were thought it was. It is for a christmas present so we have not checked it out.

I was thinking to get the full amazon echo but I didn't want to spend that much many, luckily amazon release the echo dot which is the same thing minus the speaker which is OK I have connected it to a Bluetooth speaker, I wanted to try it and see how it works and let me tell you it is really nice.

Bought this for my husband who is not into tech items. He can ask questions and receive information without having to use tablet or smart phone. Great for older people.

The echo is awesome. We have this programmed to turn on all our lights before we walk in our place and programmed to turn on when the sun sets. Our echo is connected to our Spotify account and other apps which is very convenient. Alexa does say funny things on her own sometimes; just minor glitches.
