I can't believe I've survived this long without an Echo. It's so helpful to have in the kitchen, from playing the news to setting timers. When I'm rushing in the morning, I can hear the weather forecast and set reminders without needing to pull open my laptop or cell.

Fortunately I work for a software company and my "guys" programmed the dot to do some cool stuff!

Is excellent for streaming music, getting information and automation of some household activities

I got one of these fro my daughter and one for her boyfriend at Christmas. They both love it and are finding new ways to put it to good use. We bought them when they were on sale and then you couldn't find them so I was glad we got them before they were all sold out. Would definitely buy again.

This thing is so cool and smart that it kinda freaks me out. I constantly get emailed updates letting me know what Alexa can do next, like play jeopardy and order Lyfts (which I have yet to try). But it's always awkward to yell at poor Alexa and not say please and thank you. I'm working on that.

This is my third Echo Dot. I got it on sale for $20. Easy and inexpensive way to start your “Smart Home” project. I chose this 2nd Gen Dot because of reviews of the 3rd gen, which indicated that 2nd gen hears better and has a much smaller plug. I’m very happy with it.

I purchased this with a free gift card I got at work. I was unsure of the Amazon Echo and didn’t know if I would use it. Now after having for over six months I can say I bought two more and converted most of my home to a smart home with the addition of an Echo Show.

Love the Amazon Devices. I bought this as a gift for my Sister. I previously got the Amazon Echo for myself. I enjoy listening to the news and music. Really an added benefit of my Amazon Prime Account. I've just scratched the surface of this product. Still learning new things I can do with it:)

This item is in my son's bedroom and he uses it for an alarm, to play music and to have fun.

The speaker is somewhat loud but it is a smaller device. Still is great as the bigger echo.

I have the Echo and the Dot. The speaker quality is night and day. Listening to music, the Echo is great. Dot is just as good for everything else. I always tell it "good morning" and get a fun fact for the day. Fun to ask off the wall questions and see what the response is. It is great to use for information that you would randomly search on google. Havent fully unlocked the potential but having fun with it for now.

Dot may be small as an Atom but performs like an Atomic bomb. The ecosystem of Alexa keeps growing everyday. Now i can control all the lightings , TV etc at my home through this dot. Even it serves my kiddo be playing rhymes for him. Dot should be easily the economic smart product of 2016 .dot.

Use this for all my home automation products and also in the kitchen for conversions and recipes

I am very happy with the Echo. I am able to use it with my SmatThings system and Sonos speakers.

Ever since we were at a friend's house that had a Dot, we have been been thinking about getting one. Then, for a one day sale, BB had it on sale for $35. It is always normally $49, so I picked one up. Having fun with it, and making shopping lists and hearing jokes and music and etc etc.
