like amazon a lot. this is a great device to have in the house and help manage your devices.

I chose this over Google because I am a Prime member and have used Alexa in the past on my Fire TV to put things into my shopping cart. Very useful device. I have it controlling multiple IoT devices in my home and it picks up my voice commands fairly well. Highly recommend.

Finally stepped up to the plate and got into the Amazon Echo bandwagon; let me tell you, I don't know why I waited. Easy to connect, easy to teach it new skills, don't have to yell or talk like a robot myself to get it to work. Went out and got three more the next day and the actual Echo.

Until now, nobody quite got it right. In the Echo Dot, Amazon has created a near perfect blend of hardware and software. I've seen plenty of the former, but truly seamless multi platform software has eluded everyone but Amazon. We're talking major players like Samsung and Google who have been at it for much longer than Amazon. The main problem is that excellent products like the Samsung Smart Things hub, which do a fantastic job of unifying a slew of different connected devices from different companies (Nest, Honeywell, Phillips, and so on), still lacked the web connectivity and entertainment support I wanted, so I'd still end up needing my tablet or phone. Thanks to fantastic third party support, the Dot has no problem controlling all of my smart stuff while allowing me to listen to music, order food, check the weather, listen to the radio, set alarms and timers, all of which is easily accomplished through simple voice commands.

Already had a larger echo and got this for a small space in the family room. It’s discreet and was able to find a nice wooden case to fit it in so it blends with decor. Great for commands and information .... not for music but that’s not the intended use for me.

Must have- I didn’t think too much of it at first but it has become part of my daily routine!

I added the Echo Dot to expand my Alexa usage to my kitchen. Easy to install and fun to use.

My daughters want this for our home do I purchased it. Must say I love the convenience of it.

She can make calls, scare you, answer sport questions, tell you the weather and so much more.

I really like it, I have used it for the timer, my husband has used it for music and weather.

This works well for what it is supposed to do. Do not expect a great music speaker built in.

I already have the Alexa and One echo so I got another one for downstairs. They are awesome!

Great value - many functions are great at first, but are just as easy with smart phone apps.

I gave it to My mother in law as a gift and she loves it alot specially when requesting for old song. However there are still things that Alexa cannot answer.

Love this device. In the mornings I like to listen to 3-4 morning radio shows. When one goes to commercial, I change to another. It is so convenient to be able to use voice commands, rather than manually changing stations. I also like to use it for shopping lists and timers. Works great.

So easy to setup with the Alexa app. I can control music, lights, get wheather and news updates. It can even tell you jokes, facts, and even tell you a silly bedtime story. Wish hotel rooms had this convience. I changed the wake word to Computer and I feel in control of my ship(home).

Super useful when I need it for the weather forecast, news, music, shopping lists. Some questions do not make sense to Alexa, but with more experience on how to phase questions really help. Music is a breeze to get with pandora you just say the artists radio station then from pandora.
