My kids love their echo Dot's. We use them for their alarms and as a way to communicate.

My son is going to be super stoked with this game. Sad to admit I played it first...LOL.

My sisters wanted to make sure that our mom could contact us if she needed us in a hurry or for a medical emergency so I got her and Echo Dot. She's had a lot of fun with Alexa and we know that if she needs us all she needs to do ask Alexa to call.

I absolutely loved the ease of setting up this device. I am thoroughly enjoying it. I purchased it in white but think the black one would have better matched my decor. However, I was so eager to use it, that color became a non issue. The clarity is great as well.

Great at playing music and easy to set up. Easy to upload the app.

It's a novelty. It's cool to ask the weather and traffic and stuff but I don't do it on a regular basis. I do like using it for the music because I have it hooked up to a nice Bluetooth speaker. I don't buy stuff with it. You need to first set up Preferences of the stuff you like first on amazon and only if amazon accepts the things you want to buy with your voice. But overall works as advertised.

I always ask Alexa what the weather is going to be like. Additionally, I asked about my favorite sports team and what the score was the previous night. On occasion I do ask for a fact here or there. Fun toy for the price. Now the talk and text feature proved the price point.

I like that this is an inexpensive compliment to the original, and it can be placed pretty much anywhere. (I use mine in the bedroom as an alarm & information assistant (checking time, weather, etc.) The overall sound quality is nowhere near the larger model but, of course, this should be obvious to any buyer, and I did not purchase mine to be used as any sort of primary music playback device.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, getting a dot for $30 is a no brained - super useful!

This is the second Echo Dot we bought. I like to play specific type of music when I work from home. It is nice to have Alexa find the music for me, skip to the next song or stop the music if I get a phone call. I just say resume and it picks right back up. Plus no annoying ads. There are many other things about the Echo Dot I like but I have mainly been using it for the music.

Purchased this for the bedroom to accompany our larger Echo in the living room. Love it

It is unimaginable that such a small device offers such a large number of capabilities.

I have been considering buying an Amazon Echo since they first came out; however, I thought to myself...is this something that I would use more than a few times? Now that Amazon has created a less expensive version of the Echo, the Echo Dot, I decided to give it a try. After a day of use I could not be more happy. This thing is amazing! The setup is easy and even with my TV on "Alexa" will hear my commands. If your not familiar with the Echo or Echo Dot "Alexa" is the trigger word that turns it on. You can say things like..."Alexa, whats the current weather" or "Alexa, play me 90s music." I can even ask her things from another room and "Alexa" hears it! Overall, I am very satisfied with my Echo Dot. If your wondering this is the 2nd generation Echo Dot.

I have been using my echo dot for a month and fully enjoy it. I have not done any connections to electrical switches or outlets but it is great fun to listen to music and ask questions of. Best Buy had a great price on it and the speaker is surprisingly good for being so small.

I have the echo as well, and the dot is just as fantastic, volume is not quite as loud as echo but it's still worth it. When the wife cleans and I'm in a different room we both can listen to different radio stations at the same time. It's been a great experience for us.

Brought for father-in law as gift. I own 2 nice little gadget to have around the house.
