I really do like this more than the option that Google provides way more comprehensive

It connected easily and was easy to set up. I got it for my boyfriend and he loves it.

The amazon dot is much smaller (and cheaper) than the echo and tap, but it uses the same software. I even believe that this generation dot has better far field voice recognition than the echo. Use it with WeMo products and it's great for controlling lights, switches, and plugs.

We purchased this as a gift, and she loves it. After having seen the commercials, she knew this is something she wanted. She is thrilled to have Alexa.

I almost can’t believe we are here with technology. The fact that devices like this can integrate many smart objects in your home is amazing to me. The Echo Dot is well worth its price tag. It makes you feel like you are doing something really cool with technology.

I really liked it because it is very practical, considering a regular digital clock costs half of the price already. Alexa is smart, I used it to set daily alarm, listening to news, music, and audio books. I even asked her to sing a birthday song and a Christmas song before and she granted my wishes, lol... however, I wish it could be more fun like Siri. Totally worth it for it's price though!

This device was purchased primarily as a "radio", but it is so much more! Lots of fun.

The Amazon Echo is a great personal assistant! I plan on purchasing another one later.

Very neat little device. Accurate transcription and able to be heard from a ways away.

I purchased this with a harmony hub package and gave it a shot. I did a comparison of this Dot to a Google Home mini and we kept the mini instead of this. I felt like this took a lot more effort to make work than the Google mini and wasn't as natively intuitive. However, I ended up giving this to my brother and he LOVES it, so ultimately it just comes down to user preference.

Purchased this item at least four times for myself and family members. We all love it!

Alexa works wonders without having to reach for the phone or get up I love this thing!

If you are into the Amazon echosystem, then having Echo devices around the house is a must. I have an original Echo in the family room, an Echo Dot down in our theater room and now this one for our sitting area. Great way to inexpensively expand your Echo network.

Bought 2 of them for my mom. I already had 2. They're honestly so awesome. I can listen to music, the news, play games, pretty much anything! I connect my iPhone to it all the time and stream my podcasts and audible library. I'd highly recommend it.

We love our Echo! When I think of something we need to buy or do, we just tell Alexa. I always have my cell with me and delete items as they are taken care of. The music is great and we can even have her read books to us. The Google feature doesn't work very often, but the only thing that really bugs me is that we can't customize and add different lists. Add this feature and you get a 5.

This is our 3rd one. We have one in each room. Easier to say "Alexa" than "Hey Google"

Everything you would expect from an Alexa product. Compact design makes it perfect for use in small spaces like a bedroom. Decent quality sound. Great for using for music, an alarm clock or checking the weather

I have never owned anything like this in the past to compare it to. Its worth the money I spent on it. Its easy to set up and fun to use. So far I have only figured out how to ask it to play a song or set an alarm but it has many other features I am looking forward to trying.

Alexa rules. And when you add a couple Dots, your house is covered with everything to need to stay current. This guy does NOT possess the sound quality of a full blown Echo. So I always add a Bluetooth external speaker. Even the cheap ones help out.
