We love Alexa! She's quick and easy to set up, and we use her for setting alarms, playing music, answering trivia, jokes, weather, kitchen measuring debate solving...making shopping reminder lists, turning on and off lights and the fountain in our backyard. She's fabulous.

Bought for my daughter. She loves it I️ have the full size Alexa and they communicate.

I purchased this in addition to the full sized echo that I bought. I wanted a second unit to use in another area of my home. I am very pleased with the results. The unit, itself, has a built in speaker that is adequate for general use. I also have a Creative blue tooth speaker that adds a higher quality sound that is especially good for music and reading material such as a book from Kindle.

Bought this one for my sons family for Christmas. Hope they love it as much as we do.

I picked up the Echo Dot to use for an alarm clock. It worked well, and it was a bit of a novelty for a bit. In the end, I ended up returning it though. The voice recognition worked well most of the time, but when I was half awake in the AM, it sometimes took a few commands to get Alexa to do what I wanted. I have friends that love their Echos and Dots, but in the end, it just wasn't for me.

Bought this for several Family members and they all have fun with it. Mostly use it for playing music and asking questions but sometimes it is easier to use your phone and look something up on the Internet. It is much less expensive than the other models.

Once you start using Alexa, you will want one in just about every room in your house.

i use alexa to turn all my lights on. change the tv, turn it on.. etc.. great product

I thought this was a gadget for techies but it really is a very worthwhile accessory.

I did not end up using this product due to deciding to purchase a larger echo, however, I do know other people that have this product and do enjoy it.

Got several of these as Christmas gifts. My mom is elderly and doesn't have a smart phone so I used mine to set up her Echo and it works whether I'm there or not. Now she can ask about the weather, traffic conditions, weight & measure conversions, spelling, and so much more.

My son has had the Echo Dot for a while and convinced me to get one! We both love it!
