Really easy to use, setting up was also easy. You quickly get answers to all of your good questions. You can connect to bluetooth speakers easily and control it using alexa. I was able to connect it to my Fire Stick also and controlled some functions of the stick using alexa. I will have teach it some more skills.

Downside is you need to install an app on phone it would be hard to give as a gift to someone who does not understand how to set it up by themselves

I bought this after purchasing a full size Echo.. has all the same functions i just wish the sound quality was better.. sounds somewhat tin can'ish.

I was so impressed with this little lady (Alexa), I bought four more! One in each bedroom, one in the den, and another in the living room. I use the Echo Dot to control our lights and a fan. Great for weather updates and the latest news, too. Oh... and the music! Love it!

I bought this in Nov 2016 during Black Friday.. it was working fine for several months but recently Amazon pushed some software update or something and Echo is acting very weirdly. I contacted amazon about this and they asked me to do the factory settings on it. Not sure what'ts wrong. Its a good concept and helpful when your hands are full. Should give a try its only 50 bucks.

I got my son an echo and he loves it so I decided to get a dot for myself. I love that I continually get emails telling me what new things Alexa can do. Glad I purchased. Its fun and functional. I use the alarms and weather feature daily. I love to play games too.

If you have a dumb speaker around the house, get these instead of the new version. I still have some of them around the house, and they work like a charm. I have to admit the new version looks way better, but it's a matter of taste and price.

I m totally happy with my dot. I just ordered the Phillips Hue starter kit and it is amazing. Alexia controls it with ease, no problems so far. I like the way they put some humor in some of the answers, Just ask her what sound a blue whale makes. You will get a good laugh.

Easy to install and love playing with the echo . Bought a second one for my nephews

For the money ( I got it at a steep discount on Cyber Monday), there's nothing out there that matches this. I've connected it to a BlueTooth speaker and stream all my music through Alexa now. Planning to expand my usage with WIFI lighting, etc.

Great product. Would definitely buy this again. Even my three-year-old can use this

Working on making my home a smart home and Alexa was my first addition. My favorite thing to do is to ask her to play certain genres of music. The speaker isn't great so I ask her to connect to my soundboard. I'm looking forward to having Alexa do more for me!

I have these scattered throughout the house. Any time I think of an idea or need, I can add it to one of my many lists. They're all connected, so I can play music - the same music - throughout the house if desired. Very fun, very cool, VERY HAPPY with these!

I have both google home and echo. In my opinion the echo is a superior device. There are many reasons but for me the main reason is it works with my siriusxm subscription and the voice recognition. The echo can pick up the commands better than my google home.

For $50 you've got to pick one up. I've been using this for a few days, it makes life simpler and it's so easy to use. I can ask it almost anything and it will reply. You can also set alarms and control your lights with this device which I find really cool.

This is our second dot we bought for our home. It is great, we use it for an alarm and the speaker is good enough for a small room. We use it for toddler music for our daughter and lullabies to help her fall asleep. Among the other numerous uses it has through Alexa.
