This was a gift purchase for my son-in-law. My son who has three of these uses them to control their stereo sound system. The youngsters get a kick out of talking to it having it tell jokes. I personally use Google home because of integration with my Android phone.

loving my cheap dots. they do everything the towers do for less money. the speakers work well in small spaces that do not have a lot of background noise going on. we have bought many of them and scattered them around the house and even on the patio.

The echo dot is great. It has so many options and ton of great games you can play.

What can I say the Echo Dot is definitely well worth getting. I absolutely love it

Great entry point to the Alexa assistant! Excellent gift as an add on to the Echo!

We have three of these and a regular Alexa (gen 1 I believe). They work amazing for having an intercom system in the home. They also work great for playing music for your doggo when you are away from home. My only complaint is that about 10% of the time when you try to access them from somewhere other than home, they don't appear available.

Alexa is so cool. From grocery lists to timers and help settling family disputes .

Alexa keeps the grocery list, answers questions, wakes us up in the morning when we asked her too. She will order things from Amazon when she is told. She will make phone calls. She tells jokes but they are pretty lame. Just very helpful.

I am sure I could live without it, but it sure makes life easier! Use it for homework, scheduling, list, the things it can be used for are endless. My Mom loves to use it to spell words when she is completing a crossword puzzle. Great product.

It has past my expectations for what I needed and more. Definitely telling friends.

My wife bought the echo dot for me. I didn't even know what it was let alone want it.but now I'm glad she did! Music weather news on demand it's great! I do recommend getting a decent Bluetooth speaker to go with it. Or just get the echo but I am very happy with it.

Great tool for answers and information, can be use with a smartphone for home use.
