I like the ability to ask a question and not have to type something in the Google.

Have three Dots now. Great to control TV, lights, etc. from anywhere in the house.

Did not know much about it but salesman Josh was very good at explaining it to me.

Got one of these a few months ago. Had so much fun with it got a second one to use on the second floor. Can play music, control a TV ( when used with a Harmony hub).,set timers, etc. For the price (got this as a Deal of the Day) much better deal than a Google Home.

Our house is populated with a number of these devices. Can't say enough about them.

Love my Dot, and so do the kids... amazing how it gets smarter the more you use it.

Alexa is so great. Me and her clicked from the beginning. She even met my parents.

Alexa is the backbone of our smart home. The voice control works well and we use it to control Sonos and Hue systems. I now have one in each room and the bathroom.. For $30 it worth getting a few of them to really enjoy the full potential of the ECHO system

The Echo Dot is a great addition to my home. Although it can do many things, my family mostly uses it for adding items to our shopping list, checking for the weather and the traffic to the work place in the morning, playing our music from Pandora, iHeart and Amazon Music, and a general timer for cooking and timing the kid's playtime. Alexa even converts measurements (cups, pints, etc). We have used it as a calculator too. We use the Echo Dot and ask Alexa for her assistance while mostly on the run so it saves us time. At some point I'd like to add the Philips Hue lighting system so Alexa can help with turning our lights on and off at certain times of the day. The Echo dot is very responsive; just place in a central point in the home. It also needs to be plugged the whole time even though it looks to be very portable. It can be paired with a blutooth speaker or connected to a bigger sound system by audio wire.

If you want to make your house tech this great. Alexa helps with things around those house and she’s fun to talk to. Everyone will love to use her

Bought this as a Christmas for my husband and 2 sons. What a great gift! All are enjoying it. Including myself. Very easy to set up and use. Great for a goofy joke, daily news reports, weather, and so much more! Even my 90 yr old mother enjoys asking questions!

I have Lifx bulbs and the light in my staircase leading to the basement has no wall switch (???). I bought Dot just so I can tell her to turn on the light for me when I have my hands full of laundry, rather than fumble with my Lifx phone app. She does that well, and can fill my kitchen with music when asked. I caught my boyfriend playing Pokeman Trivia, so I think he likes Dot.

Works the same as the full size echo except it has a much smaller speaker but you can connect it to another speaker over Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm audio cable which you would want if your going to play music.I have mine paired with a wink hub to control many lights by voice.

The echo works wonderfully but it’s very difficult to find the cases without ordering them unseen. Trying to match colors to the house is a pain.

The echo dot is great for listening to music or having a book read to you. To ask trivia questions I found the google product more informative.

Love it. It is more than I thought it would be. Great price for an awesome device.

I never thought I would need this cool little device. It's so useful for mornings when I'm getting dressed and at the same time it allows me to give commands for controlling all my devices such as lights, tv, fan. I will be buying more in the future for each room.

Bought this for my wife so she could listen to music and answer questions for her.

Love that I can .is ten to iTunes, call, text, get news weather, finance updates.
