This is the 3rd dot I've purchased. Love the drop in and multiple room functions.

Echo is a must have for every home especially if you love amazon services and TV.

Alexa keeps the grocery list, answers questions, wakes us up in the morning when we asked her too. She will order things from Amazon when she is told. She will make phone calls. She tells jokes but they are pretty lame. Just very helpful.

It’s like a car, this cannot be your first car purchase , if you know what i mean.. you have to go for echo one or echo plus for your first echo.

My grandson was so happy for his birthday to get an echo dot. Just what he wanted.

We have three of these and a regular Alexa (gen 1 I believe). They work amazing for having an intercom system in the home. They also work great for playing music for your doggo when you are away from home. My only complaint is that about 10% of the time when you try to access them from somewhere other than home, they don't appear available.

Fun to play with and very useful while integrated into my growing smart home.

Got this on Black Friday and it's been fun to play with. A little hard to get going because she doesn't always understand you but it gets better.

This is a great gadget ! Works extremely well, recognizing the commands at first - if you know the limits of you can ask. Works good as a speaker just to hear music. You cannot connect to your library, must be the songs you bought on Amazon. Kids love to play with it !

got an echo dot for the living room so I can control my smart devices without having to go near the Echo I have setup in the bedroom. works well.

This gadget is the best for those who want instant help with whatever you ask it.

I would recommend the Echo Dot over the Echo if you already have a speaker available. In my case, we had a old Bose Sounddock that works great with the Dot. We have several smart bulbs and plugs and Alexa is a good tool for controlling those items. The voice recognition is accurate, although we do find ourselves having to prompt Alexa at a louder than normal conversational volume.

I have the Dot in my bedroom. It is great for those short nap times when I don't want to set an alarm. I also like the capability of being able to have light bulbs that can be switched off and on without having to do it manually. A nice companion product for the Echo.

I own a number of IoT/Smart Home devices. The Echo Dot allows me to control these devices with oral commands. It is also a good way to quickly get weather forecasts, news headlines etc. There are also fun skills you can activate. I have one on each level of my house.

Bought this for christmas gift for my Dad, he will definitely love this Echo Dot.
